Think it will be a long time before we get a better opportunity to sign a striker of his calibre. The best we can hope for.
I agree, not only that but top clubs in the big leagues normally capitalise on talents like this from lesser teams in their league. It’s a big opportunity for us and I hope we don’t give in simply because of the other teams interested.

Vlahovic is a bit of an old fashioned striker but I think he’s pretty much perfect for the football we play. Has strength, presence and good at finishing, all qualities lacked by Morata.

Actually having a proper CF should relieve a lot of the pressure players like Chiesa and Dybala get and allow them to play in their best positions on the pitch. I think that’s one of the main reasons I’d want to sign him immediately.

Love this guy but then I remember Luka Jovic and his 60mill transfer from frankfurt to real... About the same players.
good point, but vlahovic just scored his 27th league goal in 2021, and that's bloody impressive. he can still fail at a big club, but the guy is a level above anyone we have at cf. certainly worth a try imo

Every transfer is a risk. But just because one player failed in one move, it doesn't mean another will in a different move. Jovic and Vlahovic are different players/people, potentially transferring between very different clubs. A move between clubs in the same league reduces some of the risk as you know he can perform against the same opposition we face regularly.

I think the fact he can join us and have little competition to be our starting CF has got to make us appealing for him.

Only issue is if we go for him in January we will probably need to pay a premium.

It is the second season in a row he is on track to score 20 plus league goals unlike Jovic and even Ibrahimovic is scoring goals despite being 40 years of age and half fit shows how poor Morata is in front of the goal

Juve will have it’s appeal as a team where he will be guaranteed playing time, but the monetary factor is going to be huge here. He’s a striker so will be very popular in the transfer market, and there is more than one club that has much more financial muscle than Juve even after the money that was freed up by selling Cris.

This guy is a beast, but if there are many clubs after him, we will struggle to acquire him. In terms of appeal, Juventus are behind Real Madrid, City, Chelsea, and Bayern - that's a given.

We're also probably behind the likes of Liverpool, PSG (who play in a shit league but have tons of money), and maybe even Barca and the red cunts of manc.

No way are we behind current Barcelona. Not only are they poor, but they're a trainwreck.

Same thoughts. His profile is great and he is worth the gamble.

We are in such dire need of a great CF. It changes how the whole team plays when there is a player that defenders are more drawn to every time he has the ball. Chiesa, Dybala, and Cuadrado would surely benefit from the added space a proper striker brings.

Even if it was short lived, Higuain's first two seasons here were fantastic, it had been a long time before, and now after, that we don't have a top CF.

A striker who can hold up play will release a lot of the burden on the midfield. As a midfielder it's painful to see the ball being played to your striker, only for it to strike back just as hard. Vlahovic would be a match made in heaven for this team, and i would love for us to go all-in on him, even if that means paying a premium.

There’s less tension between Vlahovic & Fiorentina, the relationship has improved slightly, however, Fiorentina won’t be selling the player for anything less they value him at. The Intermediaries are convinced that the player sees himself at Juventus.Juve will make an attempt to sign him in January. (Tuttosport)
