There was another blow to the Juventus establishment this morning after the club dressing room caught fire.
Fortunately there were no players or staff present at the time of the incident, although it is believed that a large section of the dressing room area was damaged.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established although the circumstances are not thought to be suspicious.
The tension within the Bianconeri camp is already smoulderingly hot after the controversial events of Saturday evening during the Serie A clash with Napoli.
The Serie B champions had two non-existent penalties awarded against them by referee Mauro Bergonzi as they fell to a 3-1 defeat at San Paolo.
Juventus are next in action on Wednesday evening as Empoli travel to the Stadio Olimpico. Gigi Cagni’s men, despite their excellent recent win at Milan, are struggling this season and currently sit fourth-from-bottom with just eight points and five goals from their nine games so far.
