i know what you mean and i agree although i would love to see him as our left mid as a backup/replacement for neddy
id sooner vacate that spot for giovinco who i think is better anyways

besides if its true about the talks of nedved staying on are not going well and does decide to retire, then we will buy some1 proven or well known

he talent butt he never shined in the league. Feyenoord had a lousy season and he is young but he never stood out and they were average this season at best.
Question is, should we get him and block our own youngsters. I say leave him where he is and see how our own kids develop. If they succeed then we are cheaper of we can always try to get him later. More expensive I know but he is about the same age of De Ceglie , Noverina, Marchisio... My point is give them a chance they are cheaper to us. Drenthe would block them.

I agree what's the point of buying another youngester when we even can't give a chance to our own :disagree: I say let's first give a chance to players like Marichiso, Nocerino, Palla, Gio etc. at least they've already played in Italy and have more chance to succeed...

This is exactly one of the situations I'm talking about:
Juve are always linked with exciting wingers, attacking midfielders such as Florent Malouda, Franck Ribery... etc... The starting price would be 7m euro, but since Real, Chelsea co. are also chasing him, we'll eventually be priced out, and we the fans will be pissed off that the board didn't follow up their interest.

There are people here that just say buy that player, buy this one or that one but at the same time they critisise the board for not giving youngsters a chance. There are choices we have to make.
Do we play Palla or do we buy another striker? We play with Nocerino or we buy Drenthe? Ofcourse there are risks involved but playing youngsters has financial advantages. Therefor I would hate to see Palla or Nocerino go anywhere. I know competition is pretty stiff at Juve and we have to see case by case if it's not better to loan them to teams where they have more playing time but buying a youngster Like Drenthe would give the wrong signal to our own talents.

Drenthe would be a quality signing for us. He has alot of pace and i'd get him this instant especially at that price. we need pacey wingers which we dont have and Drenthe is a box of tricks.

He is making a name for himself right now but he was average in th Dutch league last season. That league is not as hard as the Italian league. He never stood out at a mediocre Feyenoord. The guy has potential but he is big questionmark. Besides we have other fish to fry! cb anyone...

the guy was the star of the u21's and is just the exciting type of player that we need, he would thrive in juventus especially with nedved, camo, tiago, DP and trez. Come on Royston demand a move to juve!

I think Feyenoord need to sell him to cover their "big buys" : Makaay (Bayern München), De Cler (AZ), Hofland (Wolfsburg) and Van Bronckhorst (Barcelona) costed 15 Millions.

And since the transfer of Castelen to PSG hit the rocks, they got to sell someone.

Drenthe is a hot prospect, and has talent for sure... But 7 Million is not nothing. We've been negociating about Milito for weeks about what 2 Million?
