Seriously, what is happening to the players at JJ? It’s like they completely forget what football is when they join JJ. How can a player drop so much?
hard to explain. must be a combination of bad working environment (toli is surely a dick and motta wasn't an easy guy to work with either), too much pressure by the media and fans that these players never faced, and bad preparation

i'm convinced that all of luiz, nico and koop are good players. not 50-60m good, but solid 25-30m players. and they look like 2m players for the majority of the season. this isn't normal indeed

I’m 100 percent convinced Aston villa and Atalanta have better and more disciplined training than juve. Just look at Aston villa holding its own vs psg.

I think juve isn’t the professional club we think it is. And most likely it’s filled fraudsters for training staff.

Wouldn't be the first players to shit themselves when moving to a team that is more under the spotlight. It's also more difficult because there is barely any on field leadership.

Agree except Nico I think he's useless. I think most of our players are far better than we've seen them most of the time

With a Buffon or Chiellini in the dressing room things would definitely be better I agree.

I was at the game tonight and watched the players warm up.

His attitude looks atrocious. The bench players were doing piggy in the middle and he was the only one putting no effort in, basically being happy to lose the ball whenever he had it. It looked like Mbangula and another player were trying to get him to try. If that's a reflection of his attitude this season I'm not surprised with the way it has gone.

He complains about being benched even when he was fit but every time he entered he was off the pace and was a constant liability.

Man this Motta project really was an epic fail on a grand scale despite all the initial enthusiasm.

Alot of players seem to know they aren't going to be here next season but these comments could of been made at another time instead of when we're going into our most decisive run of games.

In my opinion, he’s absolutely right and everything he said makes sense. Douglas was one of the best midfielders in the Premier League last season, and when you pay 50 million for a player, he should clearly be a part of your plans. Obviously, coming from a different league and culture, he needed time to adapt. Yes, he had an injury, but other than that, he was constantly treated like he had no place in the team’s plans. And if that’s the case, why pay 50 million in the first place? Why sign him at all? Players like Locatelli—aside from maybe the last 2–3 games—or McKennie and even Koopmeiners haven’t exactly been outstanding, yet they’ve consistently played while Douglas barely got a chance. I think he has every right to feel the way he does.

It really seems like from the very beginning, the plan was to have Locatelli and Thuram as the two central midfielders, with Koopmeiners playing behind the striker. So where exactly was Douglas Luiz supposed to fit in? It feels like he was never actually part of the tactical project. Maybe he was just signed as a good deal on paper — not because there was a clear role for him in Motta’s setup. When you spend 50 million on a player and don’t even have a defined spot for him in the system, that’s a serious planning failure. And when a player is treated all season like he’s not really part of the project, of course his confidence takes a hit, and once that happens, the performances drop even more.

I sincerely doubt he was even regarded a top CM in England? You’re telling me was top CM when Rodri, KDB, Rice, NU and MU Bruno’s and Mac Allister was around? AV hasn’t regressed heavily after his departure either

I feel like the current and future generations of players are all like this to some degree. They are born entitled and feel an obligation to share their inner thoughts which no one really cares or asks for.

Humanity is cooked if the yutes give us any indication
