I really don't mind him so far. I'd say despite some high profile mistakes early on his performances have been decent. Miles off the level I was expecting and where he should be but also miles off the level of criticism he gets.

Based on what we have seen, I'd far rather have him playing ahead of Koopmeiners and would rather he is getting a run of games to find a rhythm. Maybe him and Thuram would work well together.

Yes, this mistakes killed his start, but the player is there, right now he looks like only Thuram is a better player than him.

I’ve stated a while ago and will do it again, he’s not even half as bad as he is being made out to be, has his limitations and made some silly mistakes by giving away a few unlucky pk’s earlier in the season but truth is he hasn’t received much trust or continuity to really see what he is all about, unlike others that have been underperforming but been still given the start.
