Does Motta see him as a starter? If not why the fark did we spend 50 million on a bench player.
Correct me if i am wrong, but motta wasnt announced as manager yet? Not sure he had much influence on this one.

But can this guy play or not? I didnt see much of him in the EPL. Does he generally have the talent or not? And if the answer is yes, then where and how does he get used in midfield?

Honestly I dont know what is the problem with this guy.
We brought him for a clear reason. He was able to do at Villa the stuff we wanted him to do. Actually that McK pass to the right that threw ball, that is what I was expecting to see more with his introduction but instead he just lost a ball (another of his so called pros) that almost led to a goal.
If he can he should sort his mind out as his Villa past implies he is capable of performing but if he cant - This is a must sell player. I am also not a fan of his effort on the field. Like his whole vibe is wrong.

Yes that pass from Weston was Pirloesque indeed! Call me crazy but still believe Luiz has it in him to be of value to us. Like you said when you see the upside of his play it has to still be there. Motta just has to get it out. And trying to sell him soon would have to be at a loss, yes/no? My bad just going to transfermarket says he is still at 55M. Keen and smart Juve management no doubt could get at least 65M. :snoop:

Because we bought him for 50m I doubt anyone would pay that to a player tha failed but 35M sounds like a reasonable price for someone who did well in EPL.

Why are we even playing him anymore? Literally everyone knows his a flop and a liability. Id even pay to get rid of him 1st january. Why is he even getting any minutes?

He got 30 minutes when Locatelli got 5 minutes.

If and when we start to win convincingly, that'll be the time to play him and his mistakes won't look so bad. It's just a bad time he is doing so many when a lot around him are also playing shit, but just a less than him. I'm expecting more from koop because he knows the league. Either way Motta needs to get the best out of these two, without that, were gonna continue suffering. As this pass to flank and then back football is killing us badly.

He had a really good pass to Vlahovic to open him up on the left. One hit pass, no extra control, no keeping the ball until Venezia get a second moment to think to track Vlahovic. Pure instinct.
The guy just needs to get his confidence back. His passing skill is above what we currently have in the team.

# Giuntoli defends # DouglasLuiz: "He came out of condition for the Copa America and struggled a bit at the beginning: not as bad as he is painted, then he got injured. It has been 2 months, in football it is fast to burn everyone, but he has great quality and we expect him"
