youre talking out of your ass again. what did he do that game exactly?
His low cross created the first goal for Bayern. He tore Cuadrado and Licht to shreds.

Why are you in such denial that Costa is good on the left?

that is a good question, i dont know why. gotta write a note to myself, dont take Nedved96 seriously
And yet you still keep responding to my posts  because you know deep inside that a lot of my posts are true, you just don’t like what I have to say.

If you don't have a great header in the middle you render Costa useless on the left. He's too predictable cause he can't cut in. Will run all the way to the corner flag and cross. Rinse and repeat.

If you play him on the right, he can cut in AND chip crosses behind the defense. Overall He's not as predictable on the right and arguable harder to stop as well.

With that in mind, Higgy is our to go striker, not too famous for his headers, so it makes more sense for us to play Costa on the right, where he can do much more on his own than on the left.
Would we play Mandzu as ST, i'd look different, since Costa would have a great header to cross to, but we don't. So better leave him on the right.

yep, but id like to add, he needs to receive passes around the box when hes on the left, or atleast with (n)one body infront of him on the counter. hes not a Cuadrado who you just bring the ball to and he then takes players on 1v1. not so much on the right side where he can cut into the middle to find space, and you cant take away the cutting option competely as a defender because he can still go right and cross. but if i was defending him as a RB/RM, id take away going side line completely from him, force him to cut in to his right foot and my job is done. thats why LWCosta needs someone to create space for him to exploit, whereas RWCosta can create space for himself just fine.

a bit unrelated but an interesting option would be Costa at LWB with Mandzukic infront of him. imagine him using all that space Mandzu usually creates for AS, just with better playmaking. but that creates the problem of not having a target man in the middle again (Higgy is so damn useless on many levels). maybe a running into the box Khedira? or Dybala on a low cross/back pass to the edge of the box? but whatever, we will never try that

Is okay though because we are gonna sign Lewandowski this summer. So, Costa-Lewandowski-Berna/Cuads for the future. :weee:

Signing Lewa would require a dick skin transplant from all the fapping+lube crisis at the local pharmacy. SEX!
All the lube in the world wouldn't be enough to save @piotrr from sore skin.

And you would have someone who is a beast in the air and know how to direct headers :scared:
