Buy Gnabry, sell Costa?

I guess they'll get another winger on top of that.
I know where youre coming from but they've already signed sule, coman, gnabry and rudy . They are after sanchez and tolisso. Something tells me they won't go for another.

I mean they play a winger based formation, with Robben and Ribery, both aging, both injury ridden, as their starters - and they will only have Gnabry and Coman as back ups? That's exceptional bad depth for a team like Bayern (if they don't get Sanchez).

Yes thay have Müller who can play RW, but it's really a pain to watch.

True, I can't deny gnabry is bad cover and its an odd strategy from bayern but I think they are focused on putting all their money on sanchez and taking the risk that only one of robben or ribery will be out injured in the lineup. To be honest they walk over bundesliga it's probably something they can afford to risk.

He will come for sure imo.

How are you looking at this transfer.

- I know from FM (yeah, silly source) that he was versatile for all AM/W positions
- However, in the flesh i only saw him play as a winger who switched between wide and inside forward at bayern. To me he seemed like a player capable of playing excellent, given a specific set of instructions, like Hazard at chelsea with Conte

I'm biassed from the potential FM claimed he had. Dont know what the player actually has. Your take ?

So from what ive read, quite a lot of bayern fans don't rate him. They class him as a hit and miss, inconsistent who loves knocking the ball past his opponents and then out pacing them to get it but with little end product. @BayernFan :boh:

You guys think Marotta wants him so AS can have a friend? :)
I mean it may sound stupid but locker room atmosphere is just as important as having great players, and after the departure of Hernanes and Neto maybe it's something they consider. it also looks like Dani is more connected with Higuain and Dybala so... also Douglas is a solid versatile player blah blah

Its true. He was world class here in the first half of 2015-16, then it went down hill. Had a decent first half of 2016, then the rest been really mediocre mostly.

I still remember this match against Wolfsburg where he looked like the new big thing

I really dont get this Gnabry deal so far. If it means we wont sign Alexis I will be really pissed. But hopefully its just because they want extra solutions on the wings
