If you want something lighter than a ban, maybe we can develop a "hall of shame" thread and allow everyone to "stone" them there once they are held up for public shaming in our community.

Kind of like putting them in the stocks for a while, and we wind up our tomatoes. ;)

Never underestimate the power of public shaming and ridicule. And the nice benefit is that it sets an example for others. Ahh... the good old Dark Ages...

 that sounds rather archaic but effective at the same time :)

but tbh I don't think it's necessary to take hard action against people who do this. It's annoying for sure, but it's not really malicious or breaking the rules... and I don't recall anyone doing it again once I've sent a quick PM asking them not to. As long as there's awareness, I don't think it'll happen too often.

Hardly effective at all. Burke, Emma and such would want it and do it just to get it.

Tony I think it was funny atleast. Shouldn't be using a forum for goal source anyways, use livescore or something :D

Emma never participates in match threads, and deep down, Burke's too nice to do something like that :)

    trust me,
juventuz is much more reliable than livescore
and most of the people refresh juventuz more times than livescore
and their internet connection isnt that good,
some might wait some seconds to refresh the page
and they rely on juventuz to get the news and comments,
also livescore sometimes is falling behind and even post wrong results some times, u cant ask why or any cind of confirmation,
but ur feloow juventini are out there, live, and one click away,
    why souldnt we trust them?
there is a confusion, many members ask for this to be reconfirmed,
there are moments u dont know what to believe:confused:
and why the heart attack may wait untill we click livescore or another alternative?

Death to the smart @sses who post fake goals,
fry em,:fero: it happens too often to be considered a joke
and i dont believe too many people consider this a joke.

    u r right about it
but unfortunately u cant control it
I think that as long as people know that everyone hates it, it's not a huge epidemic that is going to spin out of control, and I think people will grow out of it...

It's just a matter of raising awareness ;)
