Look at Pjaca, Berardi made the right choice for him in terms of this season alone. Obviously Berardi would need less settling in, but we can only field so many players.

pjaca is pretty raw compared to berardi. just an uneducated guess: since allegri switched formation, berardi would play ~half of those minutes cuadrado gets.

That would be the case only with Allegri managing a team.
Any other coach would never field Mandzukic as LM instead of Pjaca.
They would make him play as true striker as sub for Higuain.
If getting Sanchez means missing out on this guy, so be it. He's a very good talent, but we're not talking Baggio, Del Piero, Totti, Zola, or even Cassano level talent here.
Let him go to Inter and get his red cards there - He would fit perfectly with their shitty mentality...

I doubt it's one or another. As of now we have two wingers: Cuads and Pjaca with Pjaca being very raw. Berardi, Alexis, Cuads and Pjaca would be just fine imo.
It's not about comparing the two but club losing millions of euros because some pezevenk apparently 'forgot' to add a buy-back clause while selling him to Sassuolo.
