The director also hinted that Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi could arrive in Turin next summer, despite selling him outright this year.

“At the moment he’s totally owned by Sassuolo,” Marotta explained.

“We’re monitoring him, and we’ll have a consultation at the end of the season. We have an excellent relationship with Sassuolo.”
There's a quote from Beppe on FI also which says something like Sassuolo bought him completely and can negotiate his sale with anyone.

I really hope we have an option on this kid. It'd be quite appalling if we didn't.

We dont, their director doesnt say anything about it, nor does Marotta.

I'm starting to have a hunch that if we see him as winger, we arent likely to sign him after signing Cuadrado. It would be bizzare, but the possibility lingering that Marotta might be stupid enough to ignore this kid...

Yeah, this is starting to sound sketchy to me, too. Both these guys would prefer to play that RWF spot, and combined they're 40M+.

Going to be interesting to watch this unfold.

“They're really developing their talents and they're undergoing some interesting operations with us, such as that of [Simone] Zaza, whom we purchased for an appropriate price.

“Starting from the next day we began receiving offers at a higher price, but we believe in the player.

“I'm also thinking of the purchase of the first half of [Domenico] Berardi and the re-purchasing of the same by the Emiliani, who can negotiate him with anyone.

Huh?

Yeah kinda getting worried...

But then again, we just spent 68m euro on 3 attackers when only one of them can start, so...

Is he talking about Zaza? I mean, I guess that explains why we bought him but in that case Marotta is running our team like an investment portfolio.

Marotta says we have 'first option' on him.

So no buyback clause.

Doubt we'll sign him if any team offers €40m which could be likely next yr.
