yeah bro. soon to be 25 when he is not even 24. someone failed basic math
Whatever. He's not 21 like Dybala or 20 like Berardi. Imagine what Berardi will look like 3 years from now, at 23.

It doesn't matter much - he's young. My dislike for Zaza is the type of player he is. He's not capable of winning a 1-1 with an average defender. This is a requirement in my school of strikers. Look to Barca, they are world beaters because they ahve the kidn of players with individual abilities to create chances.
You'd have to be a Luca Toni and bang in headers every other week, if you're a "classic CF". Zaza is something in between - excelling in nothing.

He is still 23, but soon to be 25? :boh:

Zaza looks like an unexciting signing compared to Dybala and Berardi. For me he is a young, hardworking CF, who wants to play for us and deserves a chance. His goal record is unimpressive, but he is playing for Sassuolo. He might be a very good team player for us. Though 15 million is way too much.

Berardi on the other hand is a player I dislike very much. First of all, he is an interista. Second, he is very unprofessional and has a problem with discipline. If he is unmotivated he is just a shadow on the pitch. I believe that he will become a meaner version of Cassano. A big talent wasted due to a $#@! personality.
Immobile was impressive when he played for Pescara, incredible when he played for Torino and now he's useless playing for BvB. So there, not all players benefit from getting a better team to play with. No doubt Zaza will get more chances on goal, but he'll have to prove himself a star player for any team before we should spend €15m taking him. Berardi might be interisti. Chiellini was interisti as well if I remember? It doesn't matter what you supported as a child. I supported Real Madrid like 5 years when i was a child, now, I couldn't care less about a team. Berardi is 20 years old. 3 years younger then Zaza. Imagine where Berardi will be 3 years from now if he can continue to improve! He's way ahead of Zaza already - the only reason he's not in the NT is Antonio Conte who values workrate more then talent.
Hell, if Juan Mata was Italian he'd never make it under Conte

Balotelli, Bojinov, Cassano are just a few examples of wonderkids that never made it to a level that is enough for Juve. Berardi will be the same IMO. Only time will tell if I'm wrong.

OK, I get it. You hate Zaza. Fine. I dislike Berardi. People are different. Peace, bro.

$#@! personality? What?
He is a fan of intermerda - that's pretty enough. :D

But to give (another) good example. When he was 18 years old he got suspended for 5 or more games due to violent behavior. This is a strong sign that he is a stupid hot head.

Also, in many interviews he says he prefers to stay in Sassuolo than coming to us.

Also, when I watch him play he gets isolated and many times it looks like that he can't be bothered to play any good. It's not a coincidence to me that he makes his best games against Milan due to his intermerda heart.

To me he looks like a not very smart italian kid with a crush on inter. I just dislike him. If he comes to Juve I will pray for him to become a superstar with us. But until he prove himself with us I will distrust him and I'll dislike him.

:D

There is a difference between being a malicious player and a bit of a hot head. Morata was seen as a bit of a hot head, a lot can change at a big team. I wouldn't say he is a stupid player he just can be a bit reckless. Much like Verratti

I'm not rating Berardi as much as many others do, yet I must say he's a different class then Zaza. There's nothing special about Zaza, no skill, pace, physique that makes him stand out and get me excited. He's similar to Immobile in this regard. Berardi has great finishing, rather pacy, clinical on set pieces etc..

My point is; both are available for €15m. Zaza will never be worth more then €15m, while Berardi has the potential to become a €30m+ player in the future.

Fantastic season again from Domenico, even better than last year...and only 20 years. Astonishing. We better fucking sign him, this kid is the future of Italian Football, the most exciting talent they've had (in attacking sense) in years.

Well Berardi was kinda inconsistent, he seems to have improved on that respect this season.
Bullshit comment from him though, he has literally improved with every season as a professional in all aspects. His only weak spot is his poor disciplinary record, but its something that can be coached out of him when he plays at a serious club like us.

Strongly disagree here.

I've seen Zaza play well many times even when he didn't score.

He's not only a hardworker, he actually is skilled and has good athleticism.

He's like a Sturaro playing as a forward. At first his hardworking, grinta and athleticism make you overlook technical skills. But they are there.

He's got some great finishes. He can use both legs. He has great movement off the ball. He's actually pretty strong and pacey/acceleration.

Zaza won't become a world beater, but I think he will do good at Juventus. Will be a better option than Llorente was this season, he will strenghten our front depth.

About Berardi, we'd be fucking crazy not to sign him.

I still think we'll sign him and loan him out again, but he obviously must be fully owned.

But I do get a weird feel from him. Like he doesn't really wants to be at Juventus.

I get that Immobile vibe as well. I think at that age and record players just want to play, they don't want to be 4th choice or whatever, it's a difficult one.
It's like Marotta & co haven't shown strong signs of appreciation yet. Zaza got more love.

And if Berardi will move, he'll move to play. I mean, he only leaves Sassuolo if the team shows he'll be important for them.

So that's why I don't think it's happening next season. They won't have room to play him enough, unless Tevez leaves (which I doubt). They buy him and loan him back to Sassuolo IMO.

For those who are using the fact that he is an Interista in your argument against signing him, please stop. Seriously. It is not as if every player who has put on an Juve shirt were a fan of the club.

What does that have to do with his talent? Absolutely nothing. If you are against Juve signing him, use a different reason than where his boyhood allegiances happened to lie.

You could even use the argument that 6 of his goals were scored via a Penalty Kick, and then realize that he earned at least half of those himself.

And what's wrong with scoring from penalty kicks anyway? His conversion rate is pretty good is it not? That's a plus as well
