yep 18, he grow 5cm after that year lol.

tbh i dont know what the management will decide for him or about dybala but in the end i will root for who end up with juve shirt.

i prefer to put faith in an italian youth over others any time.

his form is not stable but i cant expect less for 20 years old but this guys got good things in him that not found in any young italian now ( pace, finishing, set pieces and good at passing)
i hope they will give him a chance in here

Man. Italian forwards suck now. Berardi and Gabbiadini are the only Italians under 30 in Serie A with 10+ goals this seasons. Both have 11 goals. Eder has 9 goals, Zaza has 8 goals. It's really quite pathetic.

Outside Italy... Immobile has flopped terribly in the Bundesliga. Balotelli has been an unmitigated disaster at Liverpool, and soon to be 30 year old Pelle has 11 goals for Southampton.

That's it. The sum total of Italian attackers between the ages of 20-30. Total $#@!, aside from Berardi and Gabbiadini, maybe Eder and Immobile if he can regain form next year.
Yup. Italy hasnt produced a single world class striker since the Del Piero- Inzaghi- Toni- Vieri age group. Cassano had great talent but was crazy. Balotelli has great talent and is definitely crazy. The rest are really bad.

This is probably why Conte needs a 3-52

SOrry. Moved it to the Serie A thread. :D

But I definitely agree.

Berardi is probably the brightest star, even if he doesn't really meet the eye test, somehow he has brilliant instincts around the box, and gets results.

The only chance we get him now if we fail to land Dybala.

And even then it's not a certainty. I have a strong feeling that Marotta and Paratici don't fancy Berardi too much. They probably see him being a few years away from playing at Juve.

At the same time they love Zaza and his signing is next to 100% probably.

I think this is why we are trying to do something quickly with Dybala, because this deal impacts on that one.

And also, we have this €15m buyout clause for Sassuolo's 50%, but what would they pay us if we decided to not take up our option? I assume standard negotiations as with other co-ownership finalisations?

The most annoying part of these co-ownerships. They value their half for €15m but definitely nowhere near when it comes to valuing Juve's half.

I am still hoping for a Berardi(half)-Zaza swap even though I rate Berardi higher than Zaza. I think Juve could get Zaza of net spend of €0m with a swap, compared to €15m out for Berardi's half. In both cases, we would get a backup forward imo, so less spend is better.

Blind auction, we will outbuy sassuolo even with 10m, I think that's what we have to do, I don't know why people not talking about blind auctions, maybe they're gone or smth? This happens when the teams fail to negotiate a deal, then bids are subbmited for the player and the one with higher fee gets the player. If we would bid 10m lets say, then either we'll get him for as little as 10M, or we'll get at least 10m and 1 cent

So we are going to go with the softly-softly approach, but this may affect our relationship with Sassuolo. I don't think we should feel obliged to pay €15m for him, he's not done enough just yet to certainly be worth €30m.
