Exactly. And you don't fix that by buying old players, you get young ones and develop them while the old ones are still good, otherwise you end up like Milan.
i know man but they need to be up there, players like Verratti, Dybala and Firmino.. these kind of young players.
all am saying is i hope players like Zaza and Berardi will be up for the task.

Edit: when i said older players i didn't mean Old i meant players in their prime. like Aguero, Pastore, the range of 25 to 28 maybe.

i have always been in favor of getting young players and develop them into stars. Actually, not this time. we will face an ugly reality in couple of seasons. there will be no Pirlo, Barzagli, Tevez, Buffon (maybe). this will be a huge loss for our team.. we need players who can make instant impact in the next couple of seasons. if players like Coman and Berardi aren't ready for us. we need to find alternatives. even if it means spending money.
Event with the lost of Pirlo, Barzagli, Tevez, and Gigi, the squad that we have and quality of it would ensure at minimum a top 3 finish in the league. I don't see the worry in brining in young guys and giving them good minutes in the League/CL. Would be better to build a team ready for Europe that way.

We haven't had Barza for a single match this year, and we're doing just fine.

Pirlo missed the first month, we did fine. We already have a very capable midfield without him.

Buffon has a few more years in him. We also have a number of young prospects like Leali that have those few years to prove they deserve a place with Juve.

Tevez is the only one you mentioned that we don't currently have a replacement, or at least another avenue to move forward from. I'm pretty certain we'll spend the requisite dollars in a year and half to replace him, when his wages go off the books.

I thought he had a very good game in spite of being tactically restricted to defend wider areas of the pitch.

Berardi was tracking back a lot, defending in his own half and along with Vrsaljko neutralized the threat from pogba/evra. It is also that side of the pitch where we tend to attack the most from.

Probably that is why allegri decided to bring on pepe and open up the game from the other side.

It's good to see that he is willing to sacrifice himself for the team.

agree. about the Tevez part, i would add "if Berardi and/or Coman dont turn out the way we expect them"

there is also the possibility of replacing Morata but we will receive 30M for him and i think we will be capable to buy a replacement by then if needed

Good find. :D

You expected a 20 year old player to be inconsistent so I'm not surprised by Bernardi form. If anyone was expecting him to repeated his 16 goal campaign especially in a league where defences adapt like bacteria to the latest antibiotics, then you underestimated Series A defenses even if league is in the shit's creek. Even in a off year, Bernardi shows that he's an important asset at sass already at 20 years old and on pace to be in double digits for assist and goal. Name me a 20 year in any league who's putting big numbers like that. It be a shame if we lose him next season because he's could have a breakout year and could lose him any major team ready slap case for him. He certailly has it within him to do so.

I don't think we'll know yet with regards to Coman and Berardi, just how good they will turn out. They'll still be 21 and 20 at that point. It's possible, but less likely. Aside from this, both Coman and Berardi seem better as wingers in a front 3, or at the very least, out wide in a front 2. I'd like to see us sign another CF, when Tevez leaves, at the very least for rotation with Morata.

And if Morata leaves too, as you say, at least we'll have 30 mil towards a replacement for him.

All the talents around the world, has to grow their abilities but it's different to play for Sas and different to play for a club like Juve with this pressing and critics.

Foreign interest in Berardi
by Football Italia

Domenico Berardi, co-owned by Juventus and Sassuolo, is apparently attracting interest from outside of Italy.
The young attacker has scored 24 goals in his 54 Serie A games, and the Bianconeri can buy out Sassuolo’s share for €15m.
However, Calciomercato reports that there is strong interest from Schalke 04, Wolfsburg and Arsenal, who are looking for an alternative to Joel Campbell.
Of course, none of these clubs could buy Berardi outright without Juventus also selling their share, but since all co-ownership deals must be resolved this summer, a bid could make things more difficult for the Old Lady.

Marotta, please buy him and keep him or buy him and loan him to Sassuolo or sell him to Sassuolo with recompra. Berardi is very young and has a bright future with Juventus and Azzurri.

If he comes back, where he finally will play?.

It seems highly unlikely that we will go for a 433 as long as tevez and morara are togheter in juve
