IMO we should bring him back. Vucinic is injury prone and didn't really contribute to our last scudetto it's time to say goodbye because he earns way too much. Giovinco could be sold too IMO because it'll be hard for Berardi to do worse than Giovinco, lol.

Considering Vucinic is as good as gone I'd feel much better with Berardi on the bench than Giovinco. Berardi has all to prove himself while Giovinco won't improve by much if at all.

Gio can play on both wings, right? LW and RW... and that is exactly where he will show what he is worth... because he is the type of player that can beat his man and swing in a cross...

Gio must stay... Quag must leave and if someone has to leave after that it will be vuci

Berardi to come and light up Europe for us. Two European Golden Boys in a row :tuttosport::tuttosport::tuttosport:

In seriousness though, bringing Berardi here will be a good move. He had a great first Serie A season, and as long as he is given the opportunity to really fight for a first team place and make that position his then it's a no brainer.

Like I said earlier - if he's got what it takes and makes the grade then excellent, we've just acquired an excellent young winger on the cheap.
If he doesn't make the grade then hey-ho, plenty more fish in the sea.

If you posted these kind of stories on Tuz a couple years ago someone would come by your house and slit your troat  we've been screaming for breaking the bank for world class players since we got back in serie A... but yeah i agree... i'd rather have Berardi than fucking Cerci for 20M or something...

Or Biabiany for 15m

It's time to stop with spending on mediocre or okayish players. We buy quite a lot of those every season and look forward to sell 'shortly' after. Thing is - old guys with big wages don't want to leave nor they're wanted by other teams.

That's just it - if we're moving towards a wing-based formation and trying to sign one expensive player Berardi would fill a slot with low cost and a relatively high potential payoff. He also fits our mantra of lowering wages and the average age of the squad. That was Beppe and Andrea's modus operandi when they took over the club.

I actually agree with Zach. There's no guarantee he'll carry the Sassuolo form to Juve and comparing him to Pogba is ridiculous as the latter is the best youth player in probably the world. However, I'd still take him and give him time but I wouldn't expect him to have even a similar impact to what Pogba did. It would be a waste to leave him in Sassuolo and he could push for a transition to a different formation.
No one is comparing the players jesus are you all dense? :sergio:

The point being made with the two players IN THE SAME SENTENCE is one was given ample playing time and the other SHOULD be given the same amount of chances to work his way into the starting 11 which he could very well do.

Holy shit I would need a chain saw to cut my way through the density here.

That's just a straw man argument - can't believe you're doing that.

The thing is the age compared with the magnitude of the task and Berardi absolutely measures up to what Pogba had shown at his age. Pretty much outperforms him in most of the categories which spring to mind.
Fighting for Serie A survival the whole season with two coaches sacked is 0 pressure?
Zach.. Seriously.
He's too stubborn for his own good.
This is the Tuz. He will be smacked no matter what.
This is just crazy. Lol. I don't get all the fuss.

Is it so weird that a young talent is given the opportunity to mature side by side with some of the greatest Italian players of all time, in a class club? Do people really think it's better that he keeps playing for a shithole club, surrounded by shitty players?

The guy is talented. Just give him a chance to play with the best, and we'll see how he goes. Pressure will be off him. Juve has Buffon, Chiellini, Pirlo, Pogba, Vidal, Tevez... countless players who are the ones responsible for the team's results. Berardi won't come as Juve's saviour.

It's so obvious. He deserves the chances. Italians have absolutely no idea on how to handle youth. It's kinda sad.

I love how Zach just sees everything so clearly, so perfectly. Like, he sees the game and understands the talent and he knows what he knows and you cannot convince him otherwise.

The logical fallacy is strong with this one.

Also, let it be stated. Juventus got Pogba on a free. Juventus, when we were not at our strongest or most popular time. On a free. If Pogba's mental talent (by the way, it's easy to speak about Pogba's "mental talent" that "everybody could see" in hindsight but I sincerely doubt every scout judged a player with 3 games under his belt and who was constantly getting into arguments with his manager over starting time as mentally strong) was so obvious, how was it Juve who signed him and there was little in the running. And it wasn't heralded as the snatch of the century or a huge upset, it was publicized as Juve taking a youth product from ManU, hopefully it works out for them. That's it. No "Juve just stole the next Zidane out from under ManU's nose" or "Juventus grab the next great superstar on a free." Pogba had zero international appearances, very few first team appearances and was regarded as a good talent who wasn't getting playing time.

Now, everybody is looking back and saying scouts knew it all along and saw Pogba was destined for greatness. Sure, they did. If any scout was certain Pogba would be where he is now, he would've signed for Madrid or Barca or Bayern or City or anybody else. If his talent was so obviously, Juve wouldn't have even had a shot at him.
Well said :agree:

This was my favourite:

Goodbye Pogba.

Have a nice life in Turin.

Its not exactly like losing a rare talent. Players come and go and Utd have seen some of the best come and go like CR7 and lived to tell the tale.

Wouldnt worry much about these "potentials"

This one fits "The Experd"'s logic pefectly:

If Pogba is so brilliant why has he made just four appearances as a sub. Compare that to Jack Wilshere at Arsenal with 35 first team appearances at the same age. Different class.
