Wow a hat-trick in 19 minutes. He has a whole half to score another one giving him two 4 goal games this season. What am I watching.

very impressive, 16 goals in his first serie a season, he has true killer instinct :D
Let's not also use one match to overlook that he hadn't scored in the 9 matches prior to his last match, against Chievo. And that includes a match against Parma where he got red carded in the first minute of coming on the pitch and cost Sassuolo the game.

It's good practice not to anoint our next religious savior while overlooking the drunken debauchery committed the previous week.

Yeah but still, you've gotta give the guy some credit. He's not supposed to be a goalscorer and he's scored more than some of the most established forwards in Italy. Something just occurred to me. Immobile and Berardi combined have more goals than Llorente and Tevez. I think we own the very best of the new generation. At least that's what the numbers would suggest.

Oh, I give him tons of credit. It's awesome that we have a co-owned player who can put together those kind of numbers over a season.

But these forums are crawling with paedophiles that want to see a 19 year old start over the likes of Llorente or Tevez with dreams of him scoring hat tricks every other week. It's a nice fantasy, but there are inconvenient realities to consider too.

I still stand by the opinion that he's not ready for us.

But games like this convince me he will be in a couple of seasons.
I agree. I believe hes still too young to mentally be able to handle sitting on the bench most of the season and be able to perform when called upon on a consistent basis. He doesnt deserve to sit on the bench even for a big club so Id say another year or two and if hes still putting up these numbers and/or strong performances then hes atleast ready to go toe to toe fighting for a starting 11. I cant wait for him to boss in the Juve shirt though

So we have 16 goals sitting in Sassuolo and 21 in Torino . Ofcourse we won't have these two mediocre players next year. Bring more Osvaldos please...

I'd leave him for one more year tbh. Seems like Sassuolo is the right place for his development and I hope they stay in Serie A until then.
