Reminder of his numbers: (excluding primavera numbers(he has few goals there)

12/13 (18yrs) : Serie B + Coppa: 39Games: 11G,6A, 5Y,1R
13/14 (19yrs) : Serie A + Coppa: 30Games: 16G,6A, 11Y,1R
14/15 (20yrs) : Serie A + Coppa: 34Games: 15G,13A, 13Y,1R
15/16 (21yrs) : Serie A + Coppa: 26Games: 6G,5A, 8Y,1R

Total so far: 129 Games: 48G,30A,37Y,4R.

He's weakest season so far,but still he has done amazingly well so far and he'll be only 22yrs this summer.
Hopefully he'll work on his temper here.too many cards for an attacking player for sure.
It's easy to forget how young he is but his goals and assist record is excellent.

Despite scoring less this season I think he has progressed this year and maybe just needs the next step to keep improving. If it doesn't work out I'm sure there will be plenty of takers.

Between injuries, a couple suspensions and bad form he has been soso. but also that Sassuolo team has been stripped from their best players in the lapse of a year. Berardi had flores and zaza before to play witj and those 3 shared spoils. now he is practically the only good player they have and he cant carry them anymore.

He needs to come to juve.
They are doing better than last season :shifty:

Sansone is still there, Defrel is a downgrade on Zaza but Duncan is an upgrade on Taider. Not sure about the strength of their bench but they are fighting for EL while last season they finished 12th

Agree.
He's a BIG talent, and for that money (~15M+Peluso) he is a MUST signing.
If he flops,we'll sell him with a little loss and that's it.

Imo he'll do great if played right.

Statistically yes. He lost Zaza though, most of his assists were for him and he was an excellent striker to run into space and Berardis through balls are one of his best assets. No idea how effective Defrel is as I rarely watched them this season, might be that he ruined some of his great passes with his bad finishing (no idea, im just guessing), or maybe he doesent free himself up and makes himself available as good as Zaza did. But it most likely is that they didn't develop a good enough chemistry between themselves. About his goal record, i had the impression when watching him this season the few times i did, that he has more time on the ball than previous seasons and participates in buildup more. He also seems to stay a bit deeper when not in possesion. Last game i saw a few counters through Sansone on the left when Berardi was running through the centre and a bit behind Sansone with Defrel higher on the right. I havent seen him much this season and i don't know if that were some tactical adjustments from Di Francesco, if they play like that all the time due to losing Zaza or he simply changed his tactics, but those are the few things I noticed about him

IM pretty sure that losing zaza has affected the team overall and that includes berardi. He is a battling workhorse with good eye for goals.

Maybe is an issue of chmistry

I said that above :D

I meant it didn't affect Sassuolo as a team because I had the impression from your post that you think they regressed from last season and that it affected Berardi because of that. But it indeed seems that Zaza was very important for Berardi and it is shown in his stats this season how much. Even though Sassuolo looks stronger than last year

Plus EDF recently said that Zaza was his dream CF.

I always considered Defrel more towards a SS than Zaza is, certainly not as much a pure CF. He's more like a Muriel type forward. That causes some issues for Berardi's assist stats, they basically have three forwards who are hard to pick up rather than a set pattern.

I have a feeling hes gonna develop a great understanding with Morata if he stays

Dybala - Morata
Berardi
Pogba - Khedira
Marchisio

Something like this? Berardi has 30 assists since he got to Serie A. He should be able to play just behind the strikers.
Yes but he did make those assists as a winger or second striker.

His purchase would preclude the retention of either Zaza or Cuadrado you would think.
