Yeah you don't get it. He occupies the same attacking position as Dybala (who people already cry about not playing enough) and Cuadrado, in his best position, and at least how Allegri is setting the team up. Dybala also naturally comes inside from the right to left being so heavily one footed. That's why when people mention bringing Berardi in it suggests Cuadrado not signing permanently.

You could throw a front line like Dybala - Morata - Berardi together or flip it around but really it limits whoever is playing on the left, which is why you see Allegri put Morata out there instead to come inside, which is also not ideal as he is not a winger.
Thanks for explaining me. What would I do without you?

I'd rather him than Cuadrado.
Definitely not. Cuadrado might lack end product at times but Berardi is never going to be a top player. Weak mentality, weak physically. Apart from his finising he has absolutely no skills that will make him into something other than a mid table player.

We'd need both anyway though.

He carries Sassuolo on his back.

Berardi never a top player? Lolwut, for his age he is absolutely amazing. Carrying Sassuolo on his back and scoring a $#@!load of goals over the past few seasons. You can say he's almost a top player now.
He is really not carrying Sassuolo on his back. I think I seen 12-15 games with Sassuolo in this season and the last and not once has he been their best offensive player.
Nice stats I agree. Somewhat inflated by he's penalties.
He is very clinical which is his biggest asset. Otherwise he just does not have the skill set (physic, technic, first touch, speed, vision) to become anything special. And the fact that he gets a red or yellow card almost every game and that he refused to come to a top club for 2 years running because he is afraid to fight for a spot in the squad is worrying.

i found out about it recently, amazing stuff, i really enjoy it. but for some reason i could only see 10 games of Sassuolo this season

weird...
12-15 games over this season and the last. You know what I mean.
The funny thing is that everytime somebody praises Berardi they mention hes stats yet everybody could agree that he played like shit against us last week. But thats how he plays every week. Sometimes he just scores a penalty or he succes in one of those diagonal runs and he is very clinical on those chances. That does not mean that he carries the team or that he is anywhere near a top player.

I have to say Dolph raises some good points.

Berardi really is a clinical finisher, but other than that he's not very well rounded as a player.

Which doesn't mean he won't improve, he's got a bright future if he can find his feet at a top club (hopefully us).

If he plays in the same position as dybala then we should go for him. Dybala has no sub at the moment we could use two second strikers.

Screw Caudrado. He is just another Salah/Gervinho.

And Berardi has only played like 3 full games for them this season too. Hasn't he been injured for most of the season?
yes, he was injured for about a month at the beginning of the season. still played 5-6 games after that though

yeah, i know what you man :p

but i watch him too and he was great imo. most of their attacks go through him, he scores, assists, wins fouls around the box, penalties... he has games in which he scores 2-3-4 goals from 4-5 shots yes, he has games where he disappears yes, but overall so far, h has been very impressive.

Cuadrado lack brains and cant cut through the middle which make him a limited player!
I like Cuadrado and always wanted him here but you need to check the facts!
Berardi is a smart player who can dribble pass and score. Its true he doesnt has Ronaldo`s physicality but if he had this too he wouldnt be staying at Sassuolo for another year... Actually he would have been here waiting for his summer exit to Real Madrid

So in opinion all Berardi lacks to be a Real Madrid level attacker is some psysic?
He is average in one on ones and an average passer.

Cuadrado is one of the best dribblers in the world, and I dont think hes end product is as bad as it is made out to be. Not saying he is a WC player but he is very usefull.
