So was Bonucci and look at him now...
Bonucci played for Inter but he stated that he was not a supporter.

We can't even give Zaza 5 minutes, and Dybala isn't starting all the time. He won't come until the summer.

So do we have a buyback clause on this guy? Cause supposedly Barca also wants him in January.
We do. 18m next summer. If we want him in Jan then he might cost a little more.

Maybe we'll sell/loan Zaza and bring Berardi. If not, he'll come in the summer as Morata's replacement.
I'd like Morata to stay. Him, Dybala and Berardi can be a deadly trio for years to come.

I am not nearly as high as many of you are on Berardi. There is a reason why almost every attacker as Sassuolo looks impressive, and that reason is Di Francesco. Not only is he far more attack minded than most coaches in Serie A, but he is also a better coach than most in Serie A.

I'm not saying Berardi isn't talented, because he definitely is, but people should definitely temper their expectations. Not to mention his goal stats are somewhat inflated by the fact the takes penalties.

let's not forget he also provides teammates with a shitload of assists. no doubt he's one of the brightest italian talents, i only rate verratti and rugani above him.

I call BS. No Sassuoulo attacker but him look impressive really, yeah they play counter attacking footie, but Di Francesco ain't no Zeman that make attackers seem alot better. Berardi has been carrying them for 3 years in a row, 1 in B and two in A. Zaza barely looked impressive enough for them and Sansone is way too inconsistent. Yeah Berardi takes pks and that has been mentionned alot, valid point, except he also tends to get his own pks and someone has to have the skill to consistently score them. Not to mention he assists plenty and in overall has been a near historical level efficient youngster in numbers. And he does this all as a winger and not CF.

Old already but from FI:

Juve poach Berardi in Jan?
By Football Italia staff

Juventus could sign Domenico Berardi in January, handing Simone Zaza back to Sassuolo, to stop Barcelona getting there first.

The Bianconeri already have an option to buy Berardi for €18m next season, rising to €25m in 2017.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, interest from Barcelona for impressive 21-year-old Berardi has frightened the Turin giants into taking action as early as January.

They’d hand over €20m plus Zaza – who left Sassuolo over the summer and is struggling for playing time at Juventus – to bring Berardi in mid-season.

Berardi only turned 21 last month, but has scored a remarkable 31 Serie A goals.

R.Baggio called him the best young talent in Italy today. Hands down.

Well, as I said, It's not just that I feel that Di Francesco is attacking, but I feel he is a very good coach. I believe their system is a big part of why their attackers succeed. I did specifically say that I feel Berardi is talented, but I feel that his performances, and specifically his statistics are inflated due to where he plays. I don't believe Zaza would score 11 goals at many/any other Serie A clubs either.

I'm not for a second saying he wouldn't succeed here, but I'm tempering my expectations.

You do have a point though. He statistics are phenomenal considering his age.
