La Gazzetta dello Sport believes that Bianconeri director Beppe Marotta is tracking both players but that Zaza is considered more ready for the step up.

However, Berardi’s hat-trick against Milan on Sunday provided a reminder of the 20-year-old’s talent and Juve could be convinced to take the option to sign him for €15m before June 10.

hiw stupid is that

I think these 3 goals will change a lot of stuff, along with Zaza's poor season.

6 months ago, they were convinced to bring Zaza back and sell our 1/2 Berardi, with a buyback clause.

But now, if they do this it will feel stupid. Just not the right thing to do. I think now they will buy the other Berardi's half and loan him back to Sassuolo.

Don't know about Zaza though.

And rightfully so,he has the talent and has to be bought.
It will be up to the team(Allegri) to see if we can use him now,if not let's loan him for another season.
But we need to buy him imo.
What we should do at the MINIMUM is take that 15m leap, buy him. Get him here for ALL the preseason games. If he dazzles keep him. If he has moments of brilliance but inconsistent then keep him until January to see if it improves and if not loan him in January. If he fails completely in preseason get him on loan before the season starts.

I can't see why we wouldn't at least get him with the squad and some PT in friendlies to test the water. We will have players like Vidal/Tevez(?) in the Coppa this summer and will need to be given additional rest before we let them play next preseason. Perfect time for he & Dybala to play together.

Come on, do you think its only the hattrick.

This guys was doing great in 18-20 years old standards for the last three years, how zaza become the better player.
No of course not. But after spending 32-40m on Dybala one must wonder if Beppe is experiencing some form of cognitive dissonance. :D

Like @Salvo says, I can see us bringing him in when Tevez leaves.

Obviously he isn't anywhere near that level (yet), but this kid is steadily improving year on year, and deserves his chance here at some point. In all honesty, I think he needs one more season (at a better club like Samp or something) before we bring him in.

I wouldnt mind that but I'd also be very happy if he came back.

With Pirlo officially leaving, we could very well start playing with three forwards instead of crowding the midfield. In that case, Tevez, Morata, Dybala and Berardi for three spots wouldn't be such overkill. Plenty of game time.

if we end up with tevez, morata, dybala, berardi and coman end of the mercato.

we can play with dybala behind tevez and morata for the next year and berardi can get more time playing this way not to mention we could try playing 433 in the cup or against small teams.

I reckon both Tevez and Llorente will go at the end of next season, so this one has a 'Zaza-type deal' written all over it. If that is the case then we don't really need Zaza at all.
