What?

How is Lacrosse gay?

You run around whipping each other with aluminum sticks, I played a year in college.

You get fucked up.

And Cricket is the gayest sport in the world.
Physical contact doesn't make it any less gay. If that's the case then Sumo Wrestling and Boxing are the most manly sports out there.

It's not a queer sport.

It's a very queer sport. Field hockey looks like a retard's sport to be honest. Hitting a ball in grass, running around like an idiot, being primarly a girl's game is what field hockey is about. We played that bullshit in high school during a gym class, gayest gym class ever.

Field hockey is even more a fag sport than baseball.

STOP INSULTING DEL PIERO, FACKER.
well you kick a ball in football, in some respect thats like hitting a ball. running around like idiots, you get the same in football. a girls game is generalisation, perhaps in america but since its an english game here in england its mainly a mans game. and school hockey is nothing like the actual sport, trust me ive done both, and school hockey was gay, but mens hockey is something on a different level.

in principle hockey and football are quite alike, only that in hockey the ball is controlled with a stick

But it's the same fucking point, isn't it? You run around with a stick, you try to hit the little but ridiculously dense ball, you try to score past a goalkeeper. It's the same thing no matter where it's played, no matter whom is involved, it's the same sport. Swinging at a heavy ball that moves so slowly on grass is just idiotic... it's like playing ice hockey with a balloon.

Mens field hockey, women's field hockey, both gay.

whats wrong with running around with a stick? some might say why you running around with a ball at your feet? and for your info its no longer played on grass, its played on water or sand based astro turf pitches and those balls can travel fast.

Look, the dynamics of field hockey are simply ridiculous. You play the sport with a ball that weighs more than an ice hockey puck and play the game with such a little stick. The ball doesn't travel as fast as a tennis ball in an indoor court, something that would probably make more sense as the sport would be much quicker. Field hockey doesn't make any sense.

Like I said, it's like playing ice hockey with an air balloon. Think about it.

the idea of the weight is to keep it as close to the ground as possible. but that is not to say it travels slowly for a ball of that weight to have the capability of travelling more than 100mph particularly on a water based pitch which the idea is to make the ball travel even faster, even in mid-air is a frightening thought having seen players with shattered bones and in my case suffering concusion that thats with the keepers helmet on. anyways check this out, it might change your mind - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=oAzbXbPyQog

The only thing that impressed me with that video is the fact whomever made that video chose The Roots as the music. The sport still doesn't make any sense... Lacrosse makes more sense to me than field hockey. Playing it on turf does make more sense than on grass though.

ok, whatever floats your boat. the fact they dont play it on grass anymore is more for safety reasons as alot of players used to suffer balls comming off uneven ground and smacking them in the face, aswell as upping the tempo of the way its played

okay, then stand still and have roger clemens throw a 95 mph ball AT A SPACE OFF THE GROUND NEAR YOUR HEAD

sounds much more dangerous
