DEL PIERO DESERVES EVERY ****EN PENNY!!!!!!!!!!!!

HE HAS DONE SOOO MUCH FOR JUVE AND HAS INSPIRED THEM TO MANY GREAT THINGS, WHEN EVER HES GOT INJURED OR WENT OFF FORM HE ALWAYS HAS CAME BACK FIGHTING STRONG LIKE A TRUE JUVENTINO NOT LIKE THEM PISS HEADS LIKE TREZ AND DAVIDS WHO ARE DEMANDING MORE MONEY (GREEDY BASTARDS)

forza del piero!!!!

last year i watched an england game where beckham was subsituted , went to the changing rooms and never came back out for the rest of the match, i bet you now that del piero would of never done that. Ive seen many match where del piero has stayed out and cheered his team to the end.

@Fahad: I havent been able to see one full Juve game this season, only the highlights from the two Cl games, so I really cant say how I think they played. But if I had withessed their poor performances I would not hesitate in critisizing them the same as I do Del Piero (not always, I have a few good things to say about him now and then ;) )
Then how could you possibly critisize Alex without even watching one full Juve match this season :confused: That's not even fair, based on what did you say that he doesn't deserve the contract with Juve ??

Even Glenn admitted that Del Piero was the best player in the pitch in more than one match this season. That's because Glenn actually watched those matches, unlike some of you who keep critisizing and bashing players without even watching the matches. Even detailed reports can't indicate the influence of a player on the team, you have to watch the thing to be able to judge it, and not depend on other people's opinions.

I'm not bashing Del Piero so much based on his performance, in fact I didnt say in one post that he played badly. I just think the contract is too long, and too high for a player that will be 34 when it ends.

Again, I did not critisize DP so much on his performances. I said he's a choker (and in the end we came to an agreement that he is) and I dont think the contract is a smart move, as the risks are too high.

@Hydde: Mundo Juve is Juventus' program of renovating the stadium, as well as building shops, Multiplex Cinemas, restaurants, etc. in or around the stadium.

Lets face it: Del Piero is a choker. Altho he's our captain and he's expected to lead the way by example for the other players, he's never able to perform on the big stage.
++ [ originally posted by GOAT ] ++
Because he's a choker! He folds under the pressure trying too hard to do whats expected of him but again failing miserably. How can you expect the team to take the heat if the captain, the leader cant?
++ [ originally posted by GOAT ] ++
Take the captain's armband from him and give it to someone who deserves it, someone who will take the responsibility on his shoulders when it's neccessary: give it to Nedved, Thuram or even Buffon. We all know they deserve it more.

Back home we call this bashing (harsh critisicm).

P.S. Some bad news for you GOAT, Neddy is going to extend his contract too soon. I just hope you don't feel as disappointed as to when Alex (2 yrs younger than Neddy) extended ..

To say the best player is unfair and exagerate ;) cause Nedved is the one who lead the team and hardly he fail something, while watching whole games you are able to see that DP fail a lot of passages, hardly make it to do a dribbling, loose a lot of balls, ecc... Anycase no one will deny that he was doing well and especially that he was the onlyone who scored continuosly.
BTW this not a "personal" critic cause IMO DP job is mainly to score and is a mistake of coaches when they ask him to help the MF to go back, ecc... cause at 29 I think that if a player feel like his own a role (and DP often said he is a foward and not anything else) and do his best there he schould be played there if not 4 emergencys.

Well it is pretty harsh, but I dont critisize him wiithout a reason.

And yeas, I am dissapointe in Neddy's new contract. I would of course want him to stay but IMO his contract also is too long, especially with a payrise.

I hope ur just being sarcastic, coz if that's not the case then I don't think we've been watching the same matches this season !! Before his injury, Alex was by far our best attacking option .. along with Zambrotta and Gigi Buffon, they were the most important players .. Nedved didn't play well except for the last couple of matches, and he himself stated that ..

I'm sure you have a great reason for critisizing Alex and not the others. And frankly, I'm not interested to know about ur reasons anymore (that's after I realised that you actually don't watch the matches, and mysteriously judge players in your own freaky way) .. You should've said that from the start to save time and effort ;)

Oh come on Fahad, dont be melodramatic. I critisize Del Piero and I critisize everyone lese that plays badly. I dont need to see every game to know he's unconsistent, a choker, etc. etc, or that Trezeguet is lazy, static, etc. And its not like I chose not to watch the games, I'd watch every one if I could :rolleyes: :(

Anyways, you are too sensitive about DP. The team is more important that the players. The team is more than the sum of its parts.

Seeing how stingy Juve are when it comes to money, I dont think the board would give him that much if he doesnt deserve it.

Come on guys, the only splurge in the market we made was for Buffon's signature. And look, it paid off.

Now if they gave Ale 5M a season, it must be worth something that would pay-off Juve in great value.
