Will serie A become great again. Yes, but not for some time. The farse of Calciopoli has seen to that. The Italians need to separate the referees & officials from directors & other associates of the clubs, so that they officiate impartially & are not "pressurised" in any way to favour one club over the other because it suits the owner/director/vice president of that team because they are currently in charge of Figc or La Liga. Everything should be operated in a fair & open manner & not just "be seen to do so" as is so common in Italy. Perhaps club officials should be replaced in these organisations by neutrals with no affiliations to clubs.
