Do you stomp on bugs/insects? (15 Viewers)

I normally don't kill them at all because I'll feel like shit afterwards. I don't know why: they don't scare me or anything like that. I usually encourage the bugs to hide somewhere in the wine cellar in the basement (where the bugs tend to find their way). However, if my father's around, I have to grab a paper towel and squash the spider/centipede/millipede. I hate that "crunching" sound of the chitin. That's what gets me.

I once remember a great moment at work while out with a bunch of coworkers. We were celebrating the birthday of one of the guys, who is a devout Hindu and a good example of a guy at perfect peace with the world (i.e., he wouldn't harm a fly). One of his female coworkers is talking to him when, in mid-conversation, this fly comes buzzing around her area on the table. Without missing a sentence in conversation, she puts the hammer down and flattens the bugger... right in front of him. Suddenly, she recognizes what she's done and sheepishly says, "Oh .... sorry!" He just kind of smirked in reply.

Welcome I don't stomp on them, God created them, I like to watch them. it is also wrong to kill a spider cause a spider helped some holy person, i don't remember his name to escape from evil.

Mr. FireEmblem i notice this your first post here....welcome aboard mate....i am also amazed by this interesting thread you posted....I dont think Juventuz.com members would be able to be on par with your Genius Status....could u tone it down to just the 2nd option (stomp and grind/drag ) because the others will cause a vast disscusion into the Spectacular Insect world and would cause it to compete with the Nick against the world thread.....keep it up...hehehehe

Everything in my house is perfectly sealed except for the cellar. Whenever I have to go get drinks or wine, I always have the pleasure of walking into a room full of bugs. It's absolutely disgusting.

Bah then your not helping. Spiders are the only insects i do stomp when not inside my house.

I hate insects, espassially these ones:

They fly into my room all the time, and are really big and look like flying spiders. :< Then I usually go open the window for a while and go hide. :<
