That's pretty much the most ridiculous thing that I've read anywhere in a while. I'm not surprised though.
Dip in form... Yeah, you can see it crystal clear, Juve have lost two games so far, both on away games to the few of the best teams in the world. Capello's (and Juve's) teams tend to have hard time near new year, that's nothing new. That's only because of the fact that players aren't superhumans, it's impossible to have as large squad to play 100% every time. That's also the reason why Juve doesn't always give their everything, and it's wise. Maximal results with minimum work, can it get any better than that?

i agree with you Erkka, after all the most important thing is the resualt. but what im afraid of is that if we got down 1-0 or 2-0 we don't seem to be able to get back.
we always look like we don't have a formation in the 1st half, in the first 30 min or so we look as if we are waiting for the opponant to attack. i started to have the feeling that capello only ask the player to defend in the first half and after the break he makes his move. thats what really annoys me, take a look at the Roma Milan and Bayren games, we usually got behind becuase of that system. except for the Roma game in which they have poor finishing.
but some team could really punish us in the CL

Well, basically you cannot have so many good enough players in your squad and continually use the same players week in week out and not expect them to get tired and the unused ones to be rusty when called upon since they have had little playing time.
This is really terrible management and if Capello continues like that, fatigue will come into play, when we really need to up our game is say, march as his first 11 will be so spent and his "reserves" will not be able to step up , as they have been totally underused and are probably unmotivated due to waht they feel is a complete lack of respect from their manager.
I honestly cannot understand how Nedved can play 90 minutes against Roma, after playing 180 minutes and a bit more for his country in crucial games, and still be used 90 minutes against Bruges, a game we should win anyways.
But Mutu used for 20 minutes if that.

I read somewhere someone saying he is beyond crticism, is that a joke? For someoen as sucessfull as he is , he does not seemed to be loved at all.
For all that he did for Roma, only a handful love him there, Zeman who managed Lazio, the ultimate sin, is far more loved at Roma, its just the guy, something about him is just not lovable imo
Lippi went to Inter for the money, but we still love him
Real Madrid fans last season were totally averse to Capello coming back there.
I bet they respect him at Milan but I am not so sure they love him, Sacchi seemed to me more loved at Milan
Does it not say something about the guy that his greatest fans seem to be Panucci and Cassano?

youth isnt always the solution,
hunger for titles and wins is the ultimate weapon,
mix this with experiance, iron will, solid tactics, some luck on injuries
and a good resources management and then u have the magic recipe,
take the Europeen champions for example,
or look at Nedved struggling to proove him self before the golden ball,
look at Mutu's eyes the 10' he plays every match,
WC winners(Vieira,Thuram,Emo)cant be motivated all the times against lesser teams,when we fought Real, we had to proove we are more Galacticos than them,but comparing our team's players one by one against Pool's players, u can see how hard it is, to motivate our players that they have to give their 110% again

It's not always wise Erkka...case in point Liverpool match last season. We did not put enough effort into the match and "patience" was certainly not the key. If we continue to put minimum effort into each and every match it will come back to haunt us...this sort of attitude is risky business in my opinion.
That's quite simple, after all coaches are just humans. Just like everyone else, they've got their own favourites, and without a doubt Zlatan and Nedved are Capello's favourites. Why does Nedved play so much? Probably Capello respects his experience and self-knowledge and agrees to play him a lot despite the results. I indeed agree that Mutu deserves to play more, but on the other hand I'm certain that his time will come.
That's hardly surprising, great coaches aren't that much loved, rather they are respected. I concur with Paulo di Canio, who said at his autobiography that to be a great and succesful coach, one needs to be hard and brutal, to have balls enough and that's probably why pretty much 100% of them are not very nice and easygoing people. The job does wonders.

You could as well complain about Lippi because he lost his CL finals to the supposedly weaker teams. Is Juve good enough to raise the level of their performance in the big matches too? It's a risk they have to take.

Emm, Lippi is beloved by Juve faithful, Fergie is loved by Man united fans, Wenger is adored at Arsenal whilst Mourinho is worshipped at Chelsea. Now if i was to take your theory into consideration, then these guys will not be as popular as they are in their respective clubs.

Please highlight where I talked about ultras? That's right, I didn't, I only talked about players. And since were at it, I might as well continue. As I said earlier in this (or was it another?) thread, I dislike Capello too, but you his a proven winner. And now this comes to the parts why I and many of the ultras dislike Capello. Quite honestly, what did you expect? The guy made ridicilous comments about Juve before, then came here and pretty much ignored the icon of Juventus everywhere he could... And then came the talk about abandoning the much loved captain for a terrone who currently plays those animals... That certainly doesn't make you popular. About other teams where he coached, the stance is reasonable to understand too.
Yes, I already agreed that Capello should give Mutu more playing time, as he should do with some other players too. And as I wrote before, it's quite natural for them to have their own favourites like everyone else. I hate it though.
