And acting as if Diego's part of Juventus history is a bit much IMHO. The guy did virtually nothing here. Could have been a very good player for us this year, but they decided to sell him. I'm okay with that. The only thing that bothers me is the price.

I wonder? If there is an agreement in place with regards to first choice on Dzeko as part of the Diego deal, would there be any restraint on Marotta revealing the stipulation of the transfer?

The fact that we sold Diego and didn't replace him with a top class striker like Pazzini (a clear favourite of Del Neri & Marotta) preferring to just loan Quagliarella, would possibly suggest that Dzeko could well be on his way next summer.

The fact that we seemed to reopen negotiations with Wolfsburg for the sale of Diego could indicate that Marotta did perhaps propose such a deal having first had the supposed 30 million offer rejected.

All theory of course but who knows?
