And to get back on topic: I would not mind Diego staying (even though I have questions about how he'll fit in our team).
But I would not mind selling him either. Just not at the price that is being mentioned today. That would be ridiculous.
I wouldn't mind selling him if we instead got a better player than him, but that's not going to happen.

I've said it a million times, a player like Diego is intelligent enough to adapt to new roles be it playing as a striker or even a winger if needs be

I don't know how credible these sources are claiming he's agreed to leave but if they are Marotta's making a huge mistake unless he replaces him with someone better by some miracle and by that I don't mean Dzeko I don't think he's worth more than 20 mil personally
idk I don't think I'd like to see diego as a CB

i ahve to say this is an admission of failure on our part,WE failed to get the best out of a player we courted for many years (at least according to one guy on here) WE failed to accomodate him,WE failed to build a team around him and now WE are going to sell an excellent player for a fraction of his true worth so we can chase another guy we covet at a high price

Just joined the site and I thought this thread is as good as any to write my first post. I'm sure it's been uttered on this site a number of times, but it's as if Delneri and Marotta are building a team worthy of Sampdoria and not Juventus. Selling Diego would be a huge step backwards, he is our most creative force in the midfield and without him we are going to be depending on a very average set of wingers.

This past year, summer included, has been as depressing as the 2006-07 season for me. I'm hoping that Marotta turns out to be the transfer genius he was made out to be and all this talk regarding Diego is somehow cover for something great, but I'm not holding my breath.

Anyway, glad I found a dedicated Juventus forum, I'm a member on Calciouk.co.uk as well but I look forward to using this site and talking all things Juve with you guys :)
