I want to see the moaners now whining and moaning about Diego being sold. Where did they hide they petty little faces? Where?

Cowards!

“Diego can either play behind a lone striker or in midfield, but he can't play behind two-strikers."

Extract from FI article of some things Del Neri said.

The flat 4-4-1-1 with our current wingbacks and the least prolific and unfortunately -most propable- duo we can ever had (Diego-Amauri) could make our last season look like a success!
I m kind of worried about Diego's place in a flat 4-4-2 as he cand defend and is too slow, to play in the center or wide of our midfield. And without the proper service and prolific goalscoarer, he wont provide much as SS either. A would prefer him as the edge in a diamond 4-4-2, but we got ourselves Del Ruineri...

Diego will not be part of the 4-man midfield, he will be behind the striker if we deploy a 4-4-2 which will look like 4-4-1-1=4-4-Diego-1

Score-less "beast". I
s not an option IMO. I would prefer Giovinco or even Amauri, to play instead of Diego, there!
