I can't understand why a talented player like Diego can only play in one position. What about transforming him to a deep-lying playmaker like Pirlo? anyone?

He certainly got the creativity and vision, great short and long passing and a very good stamina. Plus, I've seen him performing some good tackles through out the season.

I suppose the fact that Marotta says he might sell Diego is not the scariest development. What is worse is that these clowns have shown no regard for setting up a team based around the players. Instead, they impose a system not suited for the players.

As a fan of Cloughie, I have to say, these guys are fucking retards.

If you hire a coach - wouldn't you want players brought on board that fit the system? No coach is capable of teaching and then executing every system there is. If Del Neri specializes in the 4-4-2 then we need players who will best execute that strategy.

My preference is to keep Diego no doubt - but last year's issues were just as much an issue with players making foolish errors and not working - not the system.

Then that just goes to show Del Neri is a shit manager.

You form the system around the players you have at your disposal. It's as simple as that. If you have several great wingers on your squad, you don't go ahead and use a system without wingers.

I mean come on, to explain this concept is like teaching a high school student how to add and subtract.

Unfortunately for us, though, that's the sort of management we have, high schoolers and fucking retards.

And the players at his disposal don't provide me with much confidence at this point. This was simply an awful season and a change in strategy is needed. We agree on Diego.

By your logic, the issues this year were more strategy based than personnel based and I don't think you believe that.

In my mind Diego should stay but I can think of at least ten players who need to go and that begins with Trezeguet and Amauri. There needs to be wholesale changes.
