I don't think Diego has been as poor as many make him out to be. Since he's a new, high-priced player, folks dig into him more. That's to be expected. But there are a few here who say Diego isn't a really talented player, which is just hogwash.

To be fair most of the time he didn't play well, but I wouldn't put it on him, because the whole team didn't perform and I would think it would be more of a coach foult than his own.

What I like about Diego is that even when the team is down, he gives his all, fights for every ball, and doesn't shy to help team mates.

As for the Diego is not talented, haven't seen anyone saying that, but if they did, thats just wrong imo.

How is it? everybody was dogging Diego when he was not playing well now he plays a fantastic game and some members go hiding. Del Piero has an ok game and you think the red sea had parted again.
Another silly comment.

And to criticize the player in his bad performance doesn't mean we hate him.

Nick17, you fail to see the point. Del Piero is a support striker and he did his job quite fluently. 2 goals, enough said with some moments of genius. Last of all, we know he's not fit and him running around playing is what gets him fit (or anyone for that matter). So stop bashing left and right.
