The thing is, we didn't really need proof that Diego can score in the Bundesliga, he has shown that enough in the past. It's not new information to back up those who were against Diego's selling.

I don't think anything of this has to do with Ale though.
It doesn't. Del Piero had two amazing goals in the second legs of our Europa League matches and creates a lot of danger when he played, yet he still gets criticism. I've learned his birthday with all those people going on about his age.

I've become very interested in Parma matches now. I think this club may have more faith in Giovinco than what meets the eye.

Del Piero is indeed a great player at the moment despite his age, but whats gonna happen when is suddenly finished? i don't expect him to be fully functional this season throughout all games as a starter, and if he is he won't be at the next, we have a season without CL and lots of new players, great chance for players to get used to each other we should have got our DP replacement (Cassano) or kept the only one we had who could fill in such role (Diego) instead of waiting for next year and wait for him to get used to the team, DP is only an option for the now but now isn't important as tomorrow and we should have been planning for tomorrow starting from now.

Agnelli recently said he's keeping an eye out for Del Pieros heir ;)

What worries me is that Marotta had planned on selling Diego because he thought he didn't fit into DN's system, whereas Del Neri himself said he would? So would I be right in saying that Marotta therefore doesn't rate Giovinco if he didn't want to keep him around knowing that Diego would probably be sold?
