If Diego was Italian he would never be sold. Its laughable looking at the scrubs we're being linked too. What a fucking joke!
we got rid of Giovinco, Criscito, and trying to sell Grosso, Camo.

your theory is false.

hard luck to diego, he worked hard but he just wasn't good enough. flopped here and in portugal. germany seems to suit him.

Wolfsburg: 'Diego is our player' Thursday 26 August, 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wolfsburg director Dieter Hoeness has announced that Juventus man “Diego can consider himself one of our players.”

The negotiations sped up rapidly over the last couple of days after initially collapsing and the Brazilian underwent his medical this morning.

“Diego can consider himself one of our players,” said general manager Hoeness.

“We are well on the way to completing the deal, but the formalities are still missing.”

Coach Steve McClaren also commented on the imminent arrival of Diego.

“I will be happy to train him. He could make his debut this weekend against Mainz.”

It’s reported Juventus will receive €15 or €16m plus another €2m if Wolfsburg qualify for the Champions League.

Diego is set to sign a four-year contract worth €6m per season.

€6 mil a year. Juve can't compete with that.

I agree. But I think he could have been our man this season. But hey, our board thought otherwise, hopefully we'll get a great replacement and things will turn out fine. Right now we can only hope for the best.

Well of course.

I'm sure his replacement will be great. But I don't care right now, I hate to see Diego leave.
Really, we have no cash besides what we get for Diego unless we can get a club to use a loan deal we have no chance of getting anyone better

or is Angelli finally going to give us his gift

It looks awful but I want to believe that our board is smart and not the opposite.

You know what can be the sad thing? Us being TWO players for 15mln euros and closing our mercato.

Last year, it was like we sold our souls to get Diego in, and then to just sell him at a big loss after just one season? Perhaps he is too talented for our Serie B ambitions?
Cheese!
