From the beginning this story looked strange:
1) Melo's twitter - contract should definately have some sort of statement that a player cannot discuss information from inside. At least I think it should, otherwise we would hear lots and lots of interesting stories from player all over the world.
2) Melo was the only one to speak, that Diego is leaving?
3) All stories in German newspapers are backed by same old pictures/videos and moreover, these pictures are considered as new.
4) It all started yesterday at around 5. And he is considered to have passed his medicals in the evening. Someone would definately take new pictures of him in Wolfsburg.
5) No comments, either from our board and player.

It would love to think it a smokescreen.
No quotes from Diego's father, MarottASS and Diego himself makes me not believing it.

I know one thing - I'd feel like shit if I were in Diego's place and they call me back.

It's like "come back, we can't find any replacement for you man. You're not good enough, but you gotta stay"

And I'd believe that if I knew one answer:

Why was Diego dropped for tonights match?

You're missing Diego being left out the Europa squad, as well as, Delneri saying he was left out due to him needing tume to think about transfers.
He said Diego is distracted by all transfer talks and can't concentrate. That's not the same as he is leaving and not needed.

Anyway, even if he is supposed to be sold, he could make that 25 players list. Moreover, he could be even on the bench and come for the last 5 minutes of the game, just to "say goodbye". I know there are risks of injury but still.

There was no big transfer talks and pressure on him until he was dropped from the squad and the Juventuz went into uproar.

Think of all those points you've said and the others that members have brought up and you gotta think where there is smoke, there is fire.
