i wanted the better player to play alongside him. Krasic must be wondering and thinking that they signed him to be working all alone to create goals for us after the sale of Diego.
Because they probably want a true support striker, and although Diego has shown flashes of it in pre-season, the fact of the matter is that he is playing out of position.
Let's just wait and see what happens over the next couple of days before we arm ourselves with pitchforks and molotov cocktails
Ah well, this whole thing was somewhat unexpected and went really fast, let's just assume we're lining up a quality replacement. It's just really silly if we really agreed to a fee of ~15m, unless there is more to it.

Wonder what is behind this deal, if the deal is true. I wonder why are we about to sell our best player for 15mil (the player we bought for 25mil just 12months ago). The player that is not injury prone, and the player that holds awesome football skills...
If true this is really a great disappointment for the fans (turning them on with Aquilani and Krasic and then off with Diego's departure), the player (we undervalued him) and the club (our best player is 15mil Euros rated by our own board).
You shouldn't judge him on how he played 8 or so years ago. He carried HSV and did excellent for Madrid, and we all know how hard that team is to function in properly.
