Are you saying that this mercato has been disastrous?
so far yes... we did everything wrong, except the Licht deal...

We repeated the same mistakes we did the last years, again fail to sell players for decent prices.
Again failed to avoid selling off some players, for no particularly logical reason.
Again spent the most part of our budget on the uneeded average CM+SSs we are stacked up.
Again failed to secure a quality starter LB and LM, we ve seeking for ages.
Again preferred quantity over quality.
Again gave priority to ItalJuve project and downgraded to worst players, but Italians.
Again failed to secure a quality non Italian CB.
Again failed to sign a starter goal scorer. (able to score 20+ goals, someone like Treze+Toni a pure finisher and not someone like Matri/Amauri/Vucinic/Quaq/Iaq)
Again failed to secure a proven coach, or at least not a crappy former player with zero exp etc etc

We did everything wrong and on the top of it, we made the worst deal of the decade, in Melo's case...
I ve been complaining about the same things each and every year and we keep comiting the same mistakes each and every year. I m not impressed by random acquisitions of random players, i believe our team suffers from some issues and only one of these issues was adressed, so far...

Pazienza and Pirlo are the only 2 Italians brought to the team so far. Pazienza is a backup, and Pirlo, as evidenced by his performance yesterday against Spain, still has more than enough left in the tank

I will agree with you on the unproven coach part, but to say that he was a crappy former player is way out of line, Cron.

Sissoko was sold for 8 million. More than a fair price, IMO.

Granted, the way things went down with Melo wer odd to say the least, but it was pretty evident that Melo was not going to be in the starting 11 for this team.

The disrespect for Conte and Ferrara is embarrassing.
Oh I'm sorry did I upset you by lambasting the man that was at the helm when we received our most humiliating champions league victory in history.

And yes, I remember deportivio or whoever the fuck beat us as well.

You seem to forget that despite Pirlo, Pazienza, we also bought the other 4 Italian loaned players, even the ones who have failed.
6 New Italian players and the current 6 Italian players will form our Italian core.
We systematically eradicated most of the stranieri we had, even the ones who had a way much better season (Melo, sorensen) to the Italians we have kept.
Our only non Italian forward is the Italianized Vucinic.
The center of our midfield has increased its Italian percentage, the center of our defence is still as Italian as it gets and we were forced to buy foreigner fullbacks because a decade of Italian failures like Molinaro, Grosso, Motta, DC is enough, but we have tried as much as possible to keep it Italian.

Only Vidal is a foreigner coming from a foreign league, the project ItalJuve is still a go and i suspect this is one of the reasons we dont buy Lugano and Vargas...
(the other is that we have wasted our budget on yet another average CM and SS)

As for Conte, i mean crappy coach of course, who also happens to be a former player and Italian of course.
It doesnt matter if he was good as a player or not, thatsa completely irrelevant, the point is not to get a crappy coach, just because he is cheap, Italian and a former player...

We bought Sissoko at the last year of his contract, in the middle of the season for about 12mil, the starting price was 16mil, we sold him 8mil,
earning half of a players market value could be considered decent these days, as we have embraced mediocrity on every level, but unfortunately Sissoko's case does not represents the average transfer deal we made. As Melo doesnt either.
The average deal we made is failing to make a cent from Tiago and be forced to release him. Failing to offload, Amauri, or Iaq for any given price.
Last year Marotta has an excuse, their salaries and limited time to find suitable candidates, but this year these excuses are not valid anymore, at least at the same degree...he ought to do better than... nothing...

There is no excuse about the Melo case, we have wasted 25+15mil to replace him with Vidal, despite we already bought 2 new CMs.
We should have at least try to keep him as a sub instead of Pazienza, 1.5mil of extra salary for a far more useful sub, wouldnt hurt us that much.
And maybe after a decent year, we could sell Melo for a decent sum.
That was just plain stupidity...

Its retarded you call vidal "average"

he was like the best CM in german competition last season and vital to his team.

but unless we buy fabregas, falcao, vidic, nani and maicon, with mourinho as coach, you will keep saying this shit

Right in your face Cronios .

About the shit player like Iaquinta, Amauri, SECCO signed them with huge salaries so that they refused to leave if their salaries are minimized. With their level, only small teams want them but they can not afford to pay their salaries. For me, get rid of their name in the pay roll is a success already. Marrotta is trying to sell Amauri for 7m and this is wonderful if it happens.
About Sissoko, .... this guy is surprisingly bad, I watched him a lot last season and getting 7m from him is a good price for us.
About Melo. He is a good CM, strong, fast. But you have to count his hot temper into his performance. It seems that you always neglect this point when compare between him and Vidal. They may be as the same level as each other ( I am sure many person thinks Vidal is better) but Melo is crazy and Vidal isn't. And one decisive reason for Melo's departure is he caused uneasy atmosphere for the team when talking a lot with the press.
About our new player this season, licht and pirlo, and vucinic are very good player, especially Pirlo when I had a chance to watch him play yesterday and I was impressed by Vucinic when he played against us last season . I don't know about Vidal and other player, but most of them are for free so there is nothing to complain about.
I agree with you that we need a new LM because Martinez and Pepe are bad. We will see who will Marrotta buy for this position. The mercato is not over yet.

I know that you are just trying to act like a jerk member of the forum. It is understandable, Simon acted this role in American Idol and many people watched this show just to hear his sarcastic opinion. However, he was paid a large sum of money to act his role while you are not. All of the saying above show that I have sth disagree and agree with you Cronios. Just try harder and never give up. Peace.
P/s: I am bad at writing so please consider my effort and neglect any mistakes if I may made.
