why did they do that ?
Valencia coach Antonio Lopez has thrown striker Marco Di Vaio out of his squad for indiscipline.
The Italian star has been excluded indefinitely by Lopez after reacting furiously to his substitution in a 0-0 draw with Mallorca.
Although he is Valencia's top scorer, the club feel his behaviour cannot be tolerated.
"His attitude when he was substituted [is the reason for his exclusion]," said Lopez.
"I don't like taking decisions like this but they are done for the good of the team.
"At the moment the decision is indefinite and when he can rejoin the rest of the squad will depend on future behaviour.
"Marco isn't a bad sport, but there are certain attitudes that are not going to be permitted at this club."

Marco Di Vaio has explained the reason behind his suspension from the Valencia squad.
The Italian striker has been excluded from the first team squad after reacting furiously to his substitution in a 0-0 draw against Mallorca.
However Di Vaio believes that there was a pretext to the incident, and explained his ire at coach Antonio Lopez.
"I was pulled off after 55 minutes," said Di Vaio in Corriere dello Sport. "It was 0-0 and, sincerely, I was the only player causing problems for their defence.
"I asked the coach twice why I had to come off, the answer was he wanted to put a midfielder on.
"Once I got to the bench I insisted on a proper explanation. He answered me angrily and I kicked a bottle.
"At the end of the match we talked and again ended up shouting.
"It seems absurd to put a midfielder on and take me off with the game at 0-0.
"He told me about the decision to suspend me and, what can I say? I'm angry. I think there is a pretext to this whole incident.
"I have been brought off after an hour in four matches and in the last three matches I had scored three times.
"I've always said I wanted to stay with Valencia, but now I am suspended and I need the officials to talk to me."
Internazionale are the first team to be linked with the Italy international, but Di Vaio has not had any contact, adding: "I've never heard from Inter's officials but I have heard the rumours."

Of course, there is a I suppose a "discrimination" in football, especially between the "big 3": England, Italy and Spain. And no-one will ever really admit that a player from one of those countries is better then any of theirs Example, if you asked an Englishman who was the best non-English player ever they would NEVER say an Italian or Spanish. Same with Italy and Spain. That is why there is the "biased" that Spaniard's always do bad in Italy, why Italians always do bad in England etc etc...

The best goalscorer in Valencia for the present season dropped out of 1st team, y can't they let the lad play for full 90 minutes? His performances have been good, and I believe he could he scored later on in the game.

That is kind of funny, considering Juve hardly ever gave him 90 minutes either...
