sell del piero, play miccoli and juve will end up like roma last year
Roma were in a dire financial situation, we are not, and the sale of Del Piero would only help that. Also, we have both Trezeguet and Di Vaio, while Roma only had Montella. It's a very different situation actually.

That's a stupid comment to say when our team is first with the highest number of goals scored.

I've got a question, and this doesn't have to do with this particular thread, but in a way it does. I've seen it a lot lately. Why is it that when someone doesn't agree with a comment or an opinion, we're resorting to calling them stupid, or their ideas stupid?

I don't know. I've seen it quite a bit lately, and if you guys knew how much I DON'T know about football, I'd be afraid to post here, anymore.

Where's the love, people???

PS- Sell Del Piero.

It doesn't usually happen on factual issues of football. It usually happens when someone says something that's universally foolish. I can not account for Glenn's most recent outburst, but I wouldn't worry if I were you.

This doesn't have anything to do with Glenn. So, glenn, if you're reading this, I'm not trying to single you out at all. It's just that his post was the one that triggered the response.

Yeah, what the hell did I do with the Love?

I left it on my desk to go to the bathroom, and POOF, gone.

Oh come on guys. How can we be saying these things about Del Piero. Di Viao is doing well like he kinda did at Parma. But remember how he dipped in form then we were like "whats going on here?". He aint someone to believe in yet. Lets not get our hopes up high and then have him dissappear into bad form.

Del Piero has been doing what he does for a good couple of years now and we have always been doubting him but the fact remains all of us love him. Its not about him making the team win - its that flair that he shows (once in a while) that makes us go Oooooh!Aaaaah!

We all loved watching Juve for those special moments even when they were losing. And most of the time those moments were characterised by Alex and Zidane and others.

So saying goodbye to DP and having great hope in Di Vaio is really like leaving your wife for a hot chick that you don't really know yet.

Well in this case wouldn't you consider him saying that we are like Roma of last year without Miccoli being 'foolish' since unlike Roma of last season, we are first with the best goal scoring record? Facts say so.

Serge I know you weren't trying to single me out, but see it this away: when you 'hate' someone you actually 'hate' what he does so you 'hate' his actions.

In this case I said his opinion is stupid not that he is stupid. I think that 'attacking' an opinion is better than attacking the person. With the latter I don't agree.

It's not really calling the person stupid, more like the idea... i guess it's not that much better, but i just hope ppl don't get offended,

PS- Sell Del Piero.
Now that's a bloody stupid idea, Serge. What's wrong with you?!

hehe j/k :p

I wouldn't be too opposed to selling DP, though it'll obviously be a loss in the form of our icon.

What the hell is wrong with y'all...??....Ur starting to talk about selling DP and letting DV replace him??...U gotta be kidding me...?

Newsflash for all of ya.....DV scores goals....DV doesn't create chanses and passes his teammates like DP......DV scores against team's like Romania and Brescia and so on, we don't know if he can handle it and score a beatu against Real in the semi's, and we can't afford trying our luck at this point...We know for shore that DP can score a beatu against Real in the semi's...

U can't talk about replacing a player like DP so easy, he is so much more to the club than just a player, he is the symbol of Juve, if we sell him like this we'd be like Inter, a team without a soul...

DP was the topscorer for Juve last season, DP were involved in creating most of our goal's, Were where DV then....??

Bye the way i think it's not very nice of Totti to say that he rather had set-up Cassano then DV for a goal.....

Del Piero can be sold, if the price is right.

Look, if Michel Platini, who did far more for Juve when he was here, can be let go, than anyone can.

No one is indispensible.

There is no way Del Piero would be sold from Juventus. I can't even see Moggi agreeing to do that. Del Piero is a favourite in the management in Juventus and they are not letting him go.

His presence in the starting line-up, IMO, is not under big stakes. I think that Trez is in an even worse position, if anything.

Anyways, the intension of this thread was to discuss Di Vaio's progress and emergence onto the "big stage" and not whether or not we should sell Del Piero ;)

dont sell DP or trez. if Lippi still like to rotate player, maybe someday he can try to put DP, trez, and DV together. Nedved can play on left midfield. DP maybe dont like to play behind the striker but the decision is on Lippi side. DP is not too bad play behind the striker, IMO.

What the hell ? couple of good performances by Di Vaio and people are talking about selling Del Piero !

whats wrong with you. Why do we need to sell anyone ?! After selling Del Piero what do we end up with ? Trezeguet, Di Vaio and Miccoli ? All major teams have at least 5 capable strikers up front.

No one needs to go anywhere.

Del Piero is gonna score in the next couple of games and shut all of you up.
