with chiellini at CB, i'm beginning to rethink our need in that position. melberg is coming, legro did ok this year, and hopefully andrade can give us 15 games (maybe even that's a lot). i would also not want us to get someone as young as zapata, even though i know he's a solid defender. but i dont want us to give up just yet on criscito. give him another year to play and let's see where he is next season, cuz zapata would basically eliminate criscito's future at juve.

Who cares of Criscito's future when Zapata is the same age (or even a year younger) and is twice the player he is? Zapata a very capable and strong defender now, and a sureshot future top class defender. If we can get it, its absolutely vital to do so.

Zapata would be a real upgrade to our defense, a very wise move, he is currently overpriced but we can make it work with a similar to Amauri's trading deal!
That's right, I think Almiron or Marchionni plus Criscito with a suitable amount of cash could convince Udinese. A central defence formed by Chiellini and Zapata would be awesome not only now, but for a decade or even longer.

Never saw Zapata but if he is as good as you say he is we must get him even if we have to pay 20M (EUROS) for him

i like it if we sign zapata but i dont see any of this shit happening and i think we wont buy any other CD ,,, but our management said that we will sign one defender , mid , and a striker ... blanc declared that we wont sign LB and we dont have space for RB position ,,, and CB position is full 2 , so i think we will see someone leaving us maybe RB ( zebina ) or CB ( andrade , cristico ) and i dont see us selling gregera ( signed him last season freely ) or legro ( did well last season ) , and buying someone instead

i really have a feeling that if we keep trez and don't sign an lb than it'll probably be 3 man defence we have next year.

if not....

legro will not be at this seasons level for more than another two seasons max and thus signing Zapata will not hinder Criscito's chances, especially if he's loaned out next season. Our weakness on the left could create extra room for Melberg, Criscito, Andrade or whomever is trying to break into the first team with Chiellini shifting over...our defence has always been the most solid part of our team in the past and it would be shame for the management not to do their upmost to continue that tradition. With our excellent attack, Zapata in defence will sure things up perfectly.

I guarantee we will not play a three man defence next season.

It will be a three and a half man defence because it will have Molinaro in it. :p
