Have you taken into account what Trez has done for us over the years?
A little recognition never hurt anybody..

That being said, I'm forever grateful for all he and Camoranesi did for us. But the years go by and we need to move on.

You basically just answered your question for him you had on his point.

The years go by, we need to move on. No one smashed Trez with doing nothing for us. It is pretty clear and I am sure he knows that as well that Trez is a legend. His point was valid.

Oh I forgot. We should double his wages and start him every game even when he's hurt. Because he's been with us for a long time and for no other reason. Just get Grygera to push his wheelchair around and we'll be champions.

Trez is a legend but let's move on please.

Who said his point wasn't valid?
Ever heard of the expression "Devil's Advocate"?

I didn't disagree with him. As a matter of fact, my last sentence proved quite the opposite. I was just explaining why I think people are so attached to Trezeguet that sometimes they lose touch with reality.

sometimes i think it would have been a fuckin' disaster if all the players we had before the calcaiopoli stayed with us in Seria B.. omg it will be like all the team should retire here cause all of them are legends.. C'mon guys Camo is a legend and i love him and i wish he could retire here but if not then sell him and move on and still he is our legend same goes for Trez..

I still don't see the problem with Di Natale. We sign him. He knows the league. He scores like crazy in this league. He gives us a couple years and helps us qualify for CL and then fucks off somewhere. I can think of worse scenarios.

Meanwhile, we work on finding some real talent to play upfront. But these players obviously aren't available now and we obviously don't have the money or appeal to net them.

I mean, if we buy him we're asking him to:

A. score domestically.
B. score in the fucking Europa League (hopefully CL the next season but by then we have a replacement).

For 2 years or so.

I think he can do that.

....That's because they give credit where credit is do...because a little credit never hurt no body.

That's how you see it man. But some people in here obviously don't.
Either way, everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. Thankfully, we are allowed to follow our own individual lines of reasoning, instead of the neighbour's lines.
Some actually do it!

By the way, your last sentence rephrases what I said.

The bid for Di Natale on paper looks good, but something about it doesn't feel right for me.

Here's my breakdown.

THE GOOD:
1. He knows the league and doesn't need to adapt to Serie A as most new signings do.
2. He's a proven goal scorer, top scorer last season.
3. He fits into our tactics by running into spaces rather than Diego's running with the ball.
4. HE'S CHEAP!

THE BAD:
1. He's not exactly a spring chicken, he's turning 33 this year.
2. Seems like his heart is not set to playing for Juve.
3. We may have another Thierry Henry with Diego leaving - look how the Frenchman became one of the world's best in Arsenal.

I don't know - I'm undecided on this one. What do you guys think?
