Per capita of cells, you are the most hypocritical person I know, Mr. Missionary.
Yeah, that comment made no sense. Just like Gray's immigration to Australia.
I wasn't going to follow up on your other statements because I figured you were just being Andy, but you seem to want to pursue this. Care to explain these sentiments to me? What is it that I've done that comes across as hypocritical? And what issue do you have with the country I was born in? To whom shall I address my letter of apology for my lack of pre-natal activism?

By the way:
Think of the most crime-ridden place on Earth and what comes to mind: Sao Paulo, Brazil? Lagos, Nigeria? The Bronx, New York?

Try the Vatican. The small nation-city ruled by Pope Benedict XVI apparently sees more criminal cases per capita than any other part of the world, the German magazine Spiegel reports.

That's according to statistics released by the Vatican's attorney general, Nicola Picardi.

In 2006, the tiny nation's justice department had to contend with 341 civil and 486 criminal cases. With a population of 492, that measures out to 1.5 cases per person — 20 times the corresponding rate in Italy.

Another surprising statistic about the rampant crime in the Vatican is that it exists despite a security force that would put a police state to shame. The seat of the Catholic Church has one Swiss guard for every four citizens, plus museum guards and police assigned to the Vatican by the Italian government.

By the way:
The reason why I responded in the fashion that I did is because you are supposedly a Christian missionary who travels around the world helping people of need, yet you find it necessary to make fun of statements that have to do with the suffering of certain individuals. The last thing a true person such as yourself, a devote, true Christian missionary, would do is poke fun at a group who are suffering. You've never been to Detroit, you don't understand what the citizens of that city have to deal with, and if you knew about your own supposed calling you'd know that there are missions who help the low income citizens of Detroit. Therefore, I find your joke to be hypocritical. But many of you redundant missionaries are indeed hypocritical.

I would never produce a joke out of the situation people in North Korea face, so why make a joke out of a post describing the situation of individuals you know nothing about? You're a fucking supposed missionary... go get your worthless ass to work and help those people.

It's not funny at all for several reasons. First of all, the kid should be placed into Baghdad with a boombox strapped around his waist that continuously plays that fucking crap he posted on Youtube. If he doesn't get shot within five minutes of deployment, somebody stabs him as many times as they can for three days. Secondly, that shit was never funny, just annoying as hell yet dumbfucks around the country continue laughing at that nonsense, thus giving that queerbag a job. Whether the little faggot was being serious or not, it doesn't matter, he should still have his balls cut off if he has any. And thirdly, I don't find it funny considering I'm from Detroit and the state of the city is far from a laughing matter, unlike Britney fucking Spears.
Face it, Andy. You got owned.

But on the real, who cares about some list. It hasn't stopped people from going to Detroit. It has the best Lebanese food you can find in the US. Not many cities can say that.

As you said yourself, I know nothing about the people of Detroit or their plight, so I've no reason to make a joke about their situation. My post was obviously just having a go at you, and had nothing to do with the topic of the thread. It could've been about apples, oranges or North Koreans, but my post wouldn't have had anything to do with those things.

You have my apologies if you did think I was poking fun at the citizens of Detroit and took offence to what was supposed be a light-hearted joke. We've 'known' each other for what... almost 5 years? So I didn't think you'd misinterpret my intentions and values the way you did.

Now about this issue of my family emigrating to Australia... care to elaborate on your grievance?

I don't donate anything at all as I don't have a job. What an inane question. But in regards to the rest of my family that lives in Detroit, I won't answer to that crap.
Blah, blah, blah... If you gave a shit you would go donate your time in a soup kitchen or something. As it happens I generally go help out at a women's shelter in souther WV during the holidays(Xmas). If you felt so strongly about Detroit you would do something similar on your holiday excursion.

I just took it as poking fun at me and Detroit as a whole, sort of making a joke out of defending the city I have come to love. What it does is simply add on to the nonsense some of these crime statisticians love to thrown around, which just puts the city in a negative light. This is what I hate.

Yes, we have known each other for a long time Graham. Perhaps that's why I became pissed at that post, as I didn't think you'd start blasting the place where I'm from as I would never poke fun of your family without reason. There is nothing internally wrong with your family situation; I made such a post out of spite. Don't take it seriously.

If you were you simply poking fun at the verbiage of my comment and not the people who have to live through this crap, it's alright then.

Good shit, Enron. You just owned me as well. You're obviously a better citizen than myself, so I applaud you for that.

Its not about that. I just wanted you to realize that Graham wasn't attacking you personally or even Detroit. He was just making a light hearded joke.

Look, Enron, a joke about the Holocaust is a joke about the Holocaust. A joke about a dead person is a joke about a dead person. A joke about a death is a joke about a death. It's open to interpretation.

Buffalo is as big a shit hole as Detroit, only not as big in size

per capita, I bet were a more violent city

but, on the other extreme, we have one of the safest cities here as well- Amherst NY (a suburb of Buffalo)

    go figure....
Buffalo looks so sad and run down. When I crossed the bridge today I felt I left a western country for a 3rd world city for some reason
