What did you like about it??

It was a very useful year for me in the working area. My job is becoming more and more nice and fruitful.

What did you hate about it??

I'm still in the same country.

What was your most important achievement?

I attended the first professional exam in my life. It's right I yet to get the result, but at least I tried.

What was your worst day??

When a stupid guy hit my car from behind while stopping on the traffic sign.

What did you like about it??
not sure if I liked anything about, wasn't any better than the past years, probably my Sister's Marriage.
Juventus wise, I am enjoying watching football again (after a long period of time, 2008 will be much better ) :flag2:

What did you hate about it??
Losing the Best times of Beirut, where I was living like a king there, more free times, I was at University after all, I miss studying days..

What was your most important achievement?
Being more experienced at work, now I can be considered a businessman. :smoke:

What was your worst day??
May 8, my Birthday when my Grandfather passed away infront of my eyes.

Reb how many companies did you nail while auditing this year?:eyebrows:
 You mean external auditors that audit many companies each year. I work as an internal auditor where I have to audit my company only including all its departments, and I'm always there to nail my colleagues in the company not like those external auditors who come just once in the year to write an illusional report.;)

Yeah.Tried.In an Anti-Govt media is more like it.The biased fuckers.
I like that. It was a brave thing, but did you have any expectation that they will publish it??

Anyway, I was moving between the TV channels on my TV today when I found a Pakistani channel. I was shocked. Why would they target our audience while not speaking even English?? It's called "Aaj" I guess. Is it governmental?

Thanx man! nice thread btw :pint:
Thanks. I just saw the forum so calm and thought about a way to spend time.

Yeah, exact same thing happened to me in '05. Trust me, you are lucky that you were with him, because I was in a different country and never got to say goodbye to him. :moan:

    RIP to yours.

    .
I sent them three articles, one after the other. The first one was a music review. The next two had the pro-government thing. After i sent the one on music, the editor replied and said that he liked my writing style n stuff, asked for me cellphone number etc.So i kinda thought that they might like the other two articles too.But the editor hasnt contacted me since:D.I wasnt expecting the pro-government articles to be printed, but i had a glimmer of hope when the editor send me a personal email..which is something that editors dont normally do here.

Aaj is privatley owned,i think.Did you get it on cable?I dont think its targetting non-english speaking people though.I get channels in Spanish and Arabic here that i dont get a word of and im sure they arent targetting Pakistanis:D

What did you like about it??

Career wise: I had a lot of progress, ups and downs but in the end it was all fruitful and headed to what I aim to.

    Personal life: I got married.

Hobbies: I went to watch Juve for the second time which made me meet a very nice Juventino. I bought a Wii.

What did you hate about it??

Some difficult periods I had at work but luckily I was stronger than that. I also hated it that I couldn't go to Lebanon for a visit.

What was your most important achievement?

Without any doubt, planning and doing a very nice wedding.

    What was your worst day??

When I knew I couldn't do my yearly volunteer work at Hultsfred because I couldn't take a couple of days off from work.

Leave politics and write insomething else, man. It's much more desirable to write about food than politics these days.

I got it on Nilesat satellite, which is an Egyptian satellite. I'm sure some Spanish channels which you see don't need translation because they speak the world's united language:evil:
