Obviously no one was askinf for youth when we ere winning every year but now all of a sudden we want to be like arsenal. Who the hell wants to be like them. THEY DONT WIN ANYTHING. And you want to know why. Its because when its a toughsituation the experienced players have been through it and know how to get out of it. Right now our ols players are shit but thatsbecause of calcioipoli not due to the fact we dont start youth. Lets bring Palldino back and Lanza and Criscito(can be considered good but I want to win the CL at some point) Lets stick with our youth! Im telling you you dont experiment when you are rebuilding and dont have depth. Problem from Secco he thinks players will be good bc they have played well in other teams without breaking down why they succeeded and could that be replicated. I want proven players until we are making the CL without worrying and challenging again and then we can maybe introduce Molinaro back bc he was one of the best younf LBs in Italy.
Dont be naive people

I think I've missed the best part of the argument but I just wanted to those that say Bundesliga players struggle in other leagues...

Antonio Cassano

He was never given a chance. I dont think you can put him in the failed category.

So the mental attributes of a player should not count against him when he is judged?
No, you would judge it on how he performs on the field. Basing your opinion on 19 games over two seasons is not enough to say he failed or did not make it in La Liga.

That's silly because if a player walks around like a cunt, it's going to hinder his ability to get on the pitch and his ability to play. Ask Ryan Babel, he's a good player talentwise but he's been a flop at Liverpool simply because he's too much of a prima for the manager to stomach playing week in and week out. The fact that he doesn't get opportunities is his fault because of his actions in the press, off the pitch, and in the training room. The same thing with Cassano, he had the opportunity to play for Real Madrid and blew it because he couldn't get things straight mentally. That my friend is failure.

Do you not think Cassano still has issues at Samp? I dont believe it would go away as soon as he left Madrid. Difference is Cassano was given a chance with Sampdoria and showed that he's a truly class player.

No the difference is that Cassano has to be played for Samp to have success. At Madrid they didn't need him to play every match, they had other better players. Point is Cassano went to a different league and a better team and ended up like just about every other Italian player that goes overseas...

Back in Italy.

Remember, you are talking to a Robinho fanboy here.

And yes his bad attitude does count against him.
This debate is over.

I'll stick to my weak personality players thank you very much.

Or basically every Italian player bar Zola that played in England (may be a few exceptions).
I thought Di canio did very well, Vialli did fine, Ravanelli scored lots of goals...Carbone has some beautiful moments...Casiraghi died, due to injury, not form. Di matteo did ok. Matterazzi and Pistone, were average.

hohoho...I am not eager to argue. I was just heading back in time and remembering the few italians I have seen in the premiership. And none who i could remember were shocking...
