Since when was Lahm underrated on this forum? He's always been considered as world class, because he is.

Why is everyone labeling Diego as a flop and failure? :wth:

In a year when Juve sucked...and when I say sucked I mean sucked, he was one of the best players who had some great matches. Showing something like that in a team that's dead isn't easy and IMO he was decent and I still think he can shine with us.
Not really labeling him a flop, but when youre playing in a team that sucked as badly as we did last year, its not that hard to stand out.

That was sarcasm man. Toni scored 30 plus goal in Serie A, then went on to suck in the Bundesliga, an inferior league to Serie A in these forums.
And only on these forums, in reality Serie A is way inferior to the Bundesliga.

His scoring record looks good for Bayern.
:shifty: he was the top scorer in the bundesliga the first year he went there.
His scoring record is 10/11 goals a season over 3 seasons.

24, 14, and 0. Good 1st season, then he pretty much sucked. I watch a fair amount of Bundesliga matches and he was pretty horrible those last two seasons.

I don't know if you guys were around back then (during the transfer), but it was said that he would shatter Gerd's record with ease. He never came close. :D

My point is that the Bundesliga is always highly and unfairly underrated on this forum.

Yeah but its pretty easy to be dragged down. I don't expect anyone to blow me away with constantly changing tactics, line ups, formations and staff not to mention a bad losing mentallity in the team and that's contagious.

Keep preaching. It annoys me that the general consensus on this forum is the other way around.

IMO Bundesliga atm is superior to both Serie A and la liga. Since calciopoli serie a became a joke.. and well la liga is the most overrated league ever.

And actually, the Bundesliga players are, if anything, underrated on this forum. When Schweinsteiger was linked with us, all of kinds of crap descriptions were thrown at him. He was made to be worse than Giannichedda. Each and every time Lahm is mentioned he is made to look worse than Molinaro.

I don't know where did you see anyone overrating Bundesliga players, I simply haven't witnessed it.
I remember this when he linked with us as Nedved replacement and his contract is expiring. Some people here said NO and made him look like crap. But now they praise how he played under Van Gaal and Germany NT..

The same applied to Sneijder too. Some people here said he is injury prone and not good enough. Or kind like Diego > Sneijder but after last season their opinion change drastically.. And don't forget how people here rate Lucio as error prone defender according to Burke review, and Thiago Motta will be flop at Inter.. But after one year all of them is a major success for Inter, they easily change their opinion
