That's one arguement, but remember that a financially successful club (and Juve is that) must also be looked at as a business. Is Del Piero more of a liability than an asset? Of course, this is again the arguement of whether he should be sold or not.
His current form should not be criticised. He is recovering from an injury, and that takes time. The only person who should be criticised here is the man who decides whether Del Piero starts or not. The buck stops at the manager.
