Wouldn't mind a 4-3-3 next season with Kulu finally getting a proper position in the team on the wing. He's not a pace monster like Chiesa as a winger but he's really good at beating his man and finding a smart pass inside the penalty box.

This.

I don't think we even tried this formation under Pirlo and this team was built for 433. That is why we got Morata for fuck sake.

I like this kid, has a soft touch and immense work rate. But we will se how he will develop next year.

Beasting yesterday. His first generally good performance since he came here? Not talking about moments of brilliance scattered throughout the season, but he looked in the zone yesterday

Good game.

His decision making is odd, sometimes he is quite intelligent and pulls off clever passes when others would go for aimless ones e.g. his excellent pass before our first goal, then sometimes he does the complete opposite. He is a threat though and seems more settled, just needs to not always cut in on his left.

His finish for his disallowed goal was superb.

Beast game once again. He will be a key player for us over the coming years. Still needs to improve in terms of decision making when clear on goal, he has a horrible tendency to dawdle on the ball for too long instead of shooting. But he has a touch of class about him and he has grown this season for sure. Forza Mortadella

I agree. With a competent coach, he can only improve. I’d like to see more fight, speed and agression in him. I think he had confidence struggles, but the club shouldn’t give up on him. I’d build the team around MDL, Chiesa and Kulu. If only we can sign a future superstar midfielder, we’d be set for the future.

Im trying to think which manager could come in and really take his game to the next level. Imagine kulu and chiesa playing off a young star like vlahovic...very bright future for many years to come.

Kulu can thrive under Allegri in a solid counter-attacking setup. He covers ground defensively and is effective on the counter.

His inexperience is exposed in a possession based team where he has too much time on the ball. But I think he can flourish under Max.
