Do we intend to use him as a CM? If that's the case we already have a terrible CM that already covers a lot of ground. Or are you referring to the Vidal type that defends in our box but attacks the other box for offense?

I really don't see what he will give us other than legs. What am I missing?

Tell me we aren't extending Matuidi and and will be like I never left.
We're not extending and on top of that we're not signing Giroud.

Happy now?

Like are you even willing to talk or you just desperately trying to find something to troll negatively about Hust?

No he is not a Matuidi, but covering lots of ground and being really creatively are excellent combination to have for a young player. More Vidal when he played AM for us in 4312, but without the elite tackling and more creative playmaking.

But like Mike and Alen says, its curious to see this urgent drive and covering ground style can be sustainable for a full season for him, and more importantly if he gives you that output when he isnt in a hyper counter attacking team.

☑ Runs Hard
☑ Runs Fast
☑ Dominant Left foot shooting
☑ Dominant left foot dribbling
☑ Lit league on fire at smaller club
☑ Plays on the wing, cuts inside, shoots hard
☑ Badass hyped up
☑ Paid in the 40m's for

Bernie or Kulusevski. Make your choice.

Output. That's the keyword for me. He has amazing stats so far, especially at his age. Let's see if he can keep it up and obviously next season we will see what kind of head he has on his shoulders.

His price is adjusted for inflation and upside so that is understandable.

His stats are what they are and they can't be hollow since he's not playing garbage time in meaningless matches.

We've invested in far more questionable players than this. Bernie was our token nationalist-pleasing signing which most of us do agree that hasn't panned out thus far. Let's see how Sarri uses this kid in the hole as a replacement for Bernie in the 4312. At this point I'd take anyone being run out there over him in that spot. If he has the work rate to track back and cover a bit to support our now 4 year disabled/incomplete midfield then I'd consider this a positive signing by Tici and Swayze.

So for now I'd sit back, pour 3 fingers of bourbon and join me in the Sarri thread.

But...

What if Sarri isn't here next year for us to see how he uses him?

Watching his highlights. I can see the comparison to Berna in the sense he is left footed, tall for a winger, has a similar build and moves his body in a similar but i think this guy has a lot better technique in beating opponents, he also seems to be better in the final 3rd, around the box where Berna has been fucking up for months.

Then again it is only a highlights video and it is for Parma as opposed to Juve (where he will play against packed defenses) so who the fuck knows? :boh:

That was one of my sarcastic points...he seems to be the focal point for attack at a small club, so, will that translate into the same output when he is no longer the attacking focal point?

Strange that some people who thought 45m for Haaland was too much think 45m for this player is a good deal.

Not seen much of him at all, his touch doesn't look great but he is 19, has a lot of strengths and had a very productive 6 months. Given the make-up of our squad someone on a low wage, young with potential sell on value, no injury issues seems a good move.

With our lack of depth/injuries in the front 3, I hope we are interested in bringing him in during January.

I'd still like us to improve CM and ditch the expensive deadwood eg Can.

he doesnt need to be a goalscorer, we have those, he needs to be able to get the ball to them.
