I think its pretty clear the confidence of player like Bentancur and Kulusevski had been shot. When things weren't going well, they weren't dealing with the pressure and expectations here.

There’s a very big difference between playing for Tottenham and Parma type clubs and playing for Juve.

Hence players like Berardi, Insigne, Immobile, etc who spend their careers in their comfort zones at lesser clubs. Kulu looks to be the same.

no real defence, lots of space in premier league is main reason for kulu to flourish there.
He’s also playing with Kane and Son instead of Morty and Dybala here. Lol

In Serie A, defensive tactics and limited space determine which player has the highest technical level. I do not think the English league with Hit under the ball style has this capability.

Is he the first player to flop at juve and do well somewhere else?
he really wasn't a flop. he was a youngster expected to perform miracles.

if you remember every time he got the ball he was isolated and left to play vs 2 or 3 opposing players. every single match he played was like that.

simply the coach is the problem for not using his talents correctly.

There are a few reasons that he is thriving, many have been mentioned before from the higher tempo in the EPL to supporting one of the best striker pairings in the world (Kane + Son) to feeling wanted and having the faith and support from his coach and the fans.

However the biggest factor in my opinion is that Conte is coaching them to a system. Conte's system for most positions (especially the wings) requires hard work more than great decision making or creativity and its playing to his strengths.

Generally speaking playing to a very defined system makes life easier for most young immature players, and on the opposite end it can suppress very creative players who thrive in freedom. You can see this even in some regular jobs. Most people (especially those with low experience/tenureship) require more hand-holding from their lead/boss and need clearly defined processes and workflows to do their jobs at a high level. And then there are others who thrive much more (often they are highly skilled and experienced) who thrive with bosses that are light handed and give them lots of freedom.

My reading of Conte's style is that its mostly a rigid system with only a select few key players that are allowed a large degree of freedom. With us it was Pirlo surrounded by machines, at Chelsea it was Hazard, at Inter it was Barella & Lukaku.

I remember after Conte left Juve, Tevez said that Allegri gave him more freedom and he thrived in it. We saw similar comments from the Inter squad early in the season, saying that they told the coach to loosen the system a bit and play a bit higher. This is at once Conte's strongest points (its why he improves broken teams with incomplete squads) and his achilles heel in Europe (deviating from the system is always a coin flip).

I cant believe you guys are letting lion go away with the "great talent, I always believed in him, its all the coaches fault " routine now.

Man needs to be banned for this shameless trolling. He was number 1,2,3,4 and 100th hater of Kulu in here, calling him terrible since day one.

Bitch ass bald eagle.

I can't believe there are people who still read Lion's posts. I scroll as fast as possible the second I see it's his post. Irrelevant and the content varies from rubbish to garbage and all what comes in between.

That can be said about a bunch of others too.

What pressure? What expectations? Players like Benta played regardless of how poor he was throughout the years. Kulu on the other hand stood no chance in a side that couldn’t create anything under a highly negative manager.

These players are now performing well in a more competitive and faster league. Spurts look likely to make the CL. Joke is totally on us once again.
