that's a good observation..hmm..we ain't keeping clean sheets like last time..this is bad..
i think is due to the team's mentality..we always relax too much with we are in the lead recently..

i think its good we are scoring more goals because to win champions league we have to score more goals even and because of this mentality we topped the group rather than bayern munich who had more clean sheets than us andand even chelsea are conceding goals

:blah:
there are 5 tough mathces there out of the 9,so that's wortless.

instead you could check the whole season't performance,which is better than that.
which is 8 goals in Seria A out of 14 matches (the best),second best is 11 Inter milan.

while in CL,we recieved 5 goals out of 6 (3 from Bayern).and Bayern recieve one goal less.I don't see any defensive problems

We, like the italian national team often concede early goals, cuz we start with the wrong mentality. I hate that shit.... but its the truth!

I don't think we really have a problem so far.....Thuram should adjust himself more. The same goes with Kovac. Thats it.

On a whole I'm actually pretty proud of our defensive record this season...CL stats should be taken with a pinch of salt since they rarely accurately reflect a team's overall performance over an entire season.

Domestically we've done all right at the back, which is all the more impressive considering we've done without Buffon ever since the start of the season.

Milan - Juventus 3-1 --> Chimenti
Juventus - Bayern Munich 2-1 --> bad overall performance
Juventus - Livorno 3-0
Roma - Juventus 1-4 --> penalty given to Roma (wasn't one)
Juventus - Brugge 1-0
Juventus - Treviso 3-1
Fiorentina - Juventus 2-2 --> B-team (+offside and hands on one goal)
Fiorentina - Juventus 1-2
Rapid - Juventus 1-3 --> played with a weaker defence (+Blasi was on the pitch :p)

Considering everything, I don't think we have a defensive problem. And once Buffon starts playing again, and returns to :strong: well ... :eyebrows: :weee:

I think it's more than the goalie. We've been covering for a less-than-ideal situation with our wing backs as well, trying to have Zambro do it all.

But all things considered, I don't think it's all that leaky. This defense is capable of a string of future clean sheets.

Indeed, but we have conceded some goals (1 against Bayern and 2 against Milan) that in my opinion Buffon would have stopped. I'm just saying that when Buffon comes back, our defensive record probably will become better then it is now.
