I'm sure Deco is a good player, whenever I have seen him he has only been mediocre though.
My problem with this is that from interviews I have read etc, he seems pretty arrogant and I don't like him for it. He claims he wants to go to a club who can ensure his status as the number 1 in the world, it's all very well if you are one of the best players in the world to make such claims, but he currently isn't.
He just seems big headed and boastful which isn't Juve's style particularly, his manner would probably suit Real Madrid a lot more than Juve!

Deco is a great player and would seem like a boost of the creative juice that our midfield had so woefully lacked last season. While I think he'd face immense challenges in Serie A on a regular basis that he mostly got tastes of only in CL play, I can't see him hurting things.
If the price is right, we could use to clear out some of the deadwood in our midfield.

At the moment,Deco is the best playmaker available on the market. Overrated? that can say onley the people who didnt watched him or onley watched one of his bad games(rarely).
He had a great game today and he showed great performances trough last season. Results can back up that.....Champions leauge and domestic championship where he was the best player .
And abot price-tag? Boys....we cant become best if we dont invest in good players. To someone...defence is the problem but my opinion lies in midfield.....we need creative players that can keep the ball....and thats DECO! And If you think that midfield cannot repeat last seasons bad form.....dont push your luck. With Trez staying and the same midfield....season can be onley worse....

Juventus have joined the growing army of clubs courting Porto playmaker Deco.
The Portugal international is high on the shopping list of Chelsea and Bayern Munich, with both clubs reportedly keen on snaring his services.
Deco recently admitted he would be open to leaving the European champions, on the proviso his new club would help to turn him into the world's best player.
A figure of £18 million has been floated as the sum required to force Porto into selling the Brazilian-born schemer.
But a two-way fight for Deco could soon develop into a three-horse race amid reports Juventus are looking to recruit the 26-year-old.
Though Juve general manager Luciano Moggi has claimed the club's summer spending is concluded following the acquisitions of Jonathan Zebina and Olivier Kapo, there are suggestions Deco could be a late addition to the Turin ranks.
New Juve coach Fabio Capello is an admirer of Deco and is believed to have persuaded Moggi to explore the possibility of signing the mercurial Salgueiros star.
Moggi is rumoured to have met Deco's agent on Monday and Juve could now become a serious rival to Chelsea and Bayern.
