hi to everyone. I know that milan have more debts than juventus. but still milan have spend so much money that they have won more trophies than juventus in last two to three years i wonder why cant we spend more money and bring quality players. milan are around 55million euros in debts and have become richer than us.i think the last two seasons has been tough for us to compete with milan.cant we forget abot budget for one season and bring in some quality players. i think aresnal have given wenger so much money too spend this summer so as to compete in champions league.

From my understanding Juve are currently are not on debt EXCEPT for the Delle Alpi stadium. Where they are paying annually for it. But thats not considered debt as much as finance.

Dumb question... I thought one of the big factors in the weakness of Serie A club finances (when compared to other European leagues) was the lack of ownership they have in their stadia. I thought most were owned by the municipalities, and the teams shared receipts and "rent".

Clarification here would definitely help.

would you rather have a thief ? to bring in star players?

Im quite proud that Juventus are a good organization and they make profits and use it for transfers without rellying on outside source, this makes juve unique IMO.

Spending loads of dough will come back to haunt you a couple years down the road, however enticing the short term benefits might seem.

However if you have a multi-billionaire media magnate bankrolling your team, then it's an entirely different matter altogether.

Milan has Berlusconi, Chelsea has Abrahmovic, Real Madrid has the spanish king, Barsa as the Catalunyan generalitat and Juve has....nothing but herself, Agnelli family hasnt invest a cent for a long time, and will not do it in the future ; this is a team who scratches with his own nails and economic efficiency and profitability is a must. greateast results with smallest inversions.
We are probably not the best european team at the moment.neither the richest.
Any detailed analysis of investment vs results will give our team a nobel prize of economy.Moggi and Giraudo has done a fantastic job and i hope they will continue to do it....
